SBS7262R is currently not under lay-up. So why the sudden confirmation that its going to be de-registered?
SBS7242Z (SLBP 193) is already de-registered as of 27 October 2011. 26 October 2011 is over.

wa, SLBP got not enough DD to go ard liao..
wa, SLBP got not enough DD to go ard liao..
There is something that I'm confused about the title.
Why is there a 'redeployment' word in the title when there isn't redeployment posted at all?

AMDEP will send some LO3x over to help lah.. dun worry.. or VO3x also can....
9 more VO2x lay up.... 7262-7263, 7265-7271... the rest (7272 - 7297) should be going as well, to make way for the Wrights, or else, i dunno where SBST is going to park these new Wrights, if they are coming at even 15 per month?

Damn. These VO2X were so unfortunate.
By the way, VO2X were only registered in the range from SBS7198T to SBS7297R. There isn't any SBS7298M.
So long VO2X, there won't be any more like this bus anymore....for good, or bad.
But I certainly will miss its smoothness, how excited I was when it appeared in 1994 (finally a more modern NAC DD), giving me the ability to smell the world beyond the windows (including the compost heap and Exxon Mobil), blowing air, hot or cold in my face (and rain).
But its 17 years is up and its with some reluctance that I accept that its time with SBST is up. An excellent DD that aged nicely.

dun have much VO3x leh.. anyway BNDEP will send over some VO3x lah to SLBP... dun worry...
its been ages that there's cross district depot transfer. If slbp were to get buses its either new new buses or from HG or BB, depends which of the 2 gets new buses recently.Originally posted by lemon1974:dun have much VO3x leh.. anyway BNDEP will send over some VO3x lah to SLBP... dun worry...
other depots already start transfer some VO3 batch 2 and 3 to SLBP and not VO3 batch 1 and why they still want LO for them as this LO are going to deregister soon than the VO3 batch 1.

then AMDEP be more special, take inWright, transfer out CDGE B9 loh...
before 8242 5153 5155 8748, it was quite a while back.. maybe not many years back but taking into account the no of depot transfers occurred within the last 3 years its quite rare.Originally posted by lemon1974:have lah.. the famous 8242 loh recently....

dat great !
Have to catch these buses soon. They are going away first, seems that SBST wants to remove NAC buses asap.
End of the era...
