The transport problem has always been highlighted through the generations.
Always the response from the top is that the system is adequate and serving the people well, and is better than other countries.
Its only when they see for themselves, that they are shocked.
There have been feedbacks and there have been backfeeds, and the Minister in the Prime Minister's Office says it is a surprise for them that the resentment is so deep.
I wonder who tailored the white uniforms.

A good one. All these people wayang only. After one year, they bo chap already. See now Raymond Lim still taking Sv 960 during peak hour at Bt Panjang or not. What has the LTA Centralised Bus Planning done so far after this unit was intro two years ago? (Drawing huge salary and forwarding emails to the respective operators only) Nothing except identified a few heavy usage routes and asked bus operators to add more trips plus a few route amendment here and there. Worst, in the Northwest area operated by SMRT. One route diverted to serve the what hospital in Yishun and one express route with 3 bloody single direction trips in the morning. I think some of us can do a better job with less than 15K per month salary.

Actually the mess started from YCT's time.
Bo chup abt improving bus svs saying buses are useless - more MRT is better.
But R.L could have solved it back in 2006.

MBT talked abt bus - MRT ops merger, so created today's messed up sub standard SMRT.
YCT say protect MRT policy, end up capacity not met w/ growing demand.
To think ST talked abt MBT's involvment in NEL. I heard ppl had to challenge MBT to take a bus ride along Upp S'goon Rd bef NEL was built.
I think lucky it was built else how would bus co handle growing Sengkang, Punggol & Hougang's bus sv needs?

Yeo Cheow Tong and Raymond Lim's 10 years were a period of stagnation. They should never have gotten the position. I wonder how come Goh Chok Tong and Lee HL appointed them with a plan to do nothing. Show that he's one of those disconnected people.

if you notice Raymond lim did nothing but clearing the backlog of what YCT didnt do during his tenure as transport minister. and even when he steps down from office he still havent clear finish.
