was looking around the net and came across this article from buses[IN]gapore's blog site which mentioned that the bus "has been shipped back to China and is de-registered. The bus was on shown to be on lay up and sources indicate that it was shipped back to China since August 2010."

may i know where did you get your sources from which hinted its return to Yutong?
From what i heard is that the Yutong was returned back to China, according also to FOS.
However, there seems to be no official confirmation. Do let us know what is the eventual fate of the Yutong (SMB135E)
Is there a Yutong agent in Singapore?
Cheers.
Seen this yutong(smb135e) inside a private bus workshop at joo koon rd near joo koon mrt station with rego being taken down . By taking svc 252 and u will see the bus inside the workshop.

now you say there isn't any official confirmation. trying to mislead the community?

By official confirmation it was meant as the LTA's one motoring showing the bus deregistered. However at that time of post, the bus was still registered, and the information from FOS was saying the bus will still be eventually de-regged and was sent back to China.
if there's really an error, do let us know.
*sees popcorn on the floor*
by the 3 second rule
*blows on the popcorn and munches heartily*
Ok but seriously....is it hard to say "I stand corrected"?
And as for those like me who just read and glance....its pretty implicit that there wasn't anything to back these statements up. You would have to be rather naive and green to believe everything people say, let alone "sources".
Live and let live la.

The agent for Yutong is Systems Cool Pte Ltd located at Joo Koon. SMB135E is inside there

i concur with what SBS2601D said. you just plainly came to that conclusion owing to your gut feelings et cetera. be humble, grow up and learn to apologise. is it really hard to apologise for your mistakes? will apologising destroy your reputation?

Wait a minute, isn't information given by SMRT to FOS members supposed to be confidental?

Now I understand why you would think stuff like this would "mislead" the rest of us....
Because you don't read between the lines.
Read my post carefully.
To mod: even if it deprives me of the popcorn I oh so crave....pls close this thread. Its clearly meant to create trouble only. We know now the Yutong is still in SG, good for us, its time to move on.

What do you mean by 'SOME'?
I think people have been throwing a lot of fake information around and they think they can get away with it without getting questioned because they can simply claim the 'confidental and sensitive' nature of it.

You want to stir somemore, the next day another bus goes into flame at tis going rate. Pity the buses. Realised it's even more potent than striking 4D
If you dun believe, go trace e events.
Also good, no more bus to debate and argue over.
of course to you is fake info..
I've info over some ongoing issues of course you would say I'm giving fake info. In fact some looks fake from now
Any case I would not reveal to your because it's even go on into OSA issues .
