MKIII is way too reliable.
but I guess maintenance is pretty important

I hardly believe in electrical faults. It's always the engine that's the main culprit.
i believe e engine used in e hispanos have a problem - they heat up too much.
i feel e mk1 and 2 bendies are much better.

Oh...
everytime i sit at a bus stop, it's only those hispano habits that are the hottest.
at least smrt shld have drilled more ventilation holes at e engine cover instead.

Ya agreed...

Ok la, there's nothing really explosive in the bus anyway.
Diesel will only catch fire and burn with the fire, unlike petrol which will explode. So its still relatively safe compared to standing near a burning car which may explode anytime.
I think SMRT should revise its capital depreciation model.
Aha the problem lies with the management.Top priorities is not servicing their own buses but give more stress to technician to service Singtel,SCDF vehicles..Just look at WLDEP buses and you can hear how bad the engine is..Those bloody arxxhole management ought to be shot in their backside..Depot so small yet no intention to move to bigger ones.

Ya. So new buses shouldn't go to WLDEP............. lol............
I saw the article in the new paper tdy..The bus's rear portion seems to be reduced to it's frame..haiz i wonder if this bus wld be saved. :(

Most likely no, the damage was worse than TIB1105H but better than TIB1110S, and it's the same kind of damage as TIB566S.
But I do hope this guy gets saved.

I mean the rear top part of the bus..typo in my earlier post..And yeah.I also hope this bus gets saved.
Instead of "watch your head", the 0405Gs should have "watch your rear for fire" for the last row of seats if any signage were to be considered.
No need save lar,Buy a few WAB Bendys for God sake and there's an empty land in front of AMDEP and employ more tech to station there for non SMRT vehicles to be serviced there.Or send those Singtel vehicles to MRT rail depot for maintenance..What a joke..

Finally, we are on the same wavelength. Its not about anti-smrt, its all about improving the situation in SMRT, that's all what I want, I am sure others think the same thing as well.
Sadly to say, I doubt they will do anything to improve the current situation.
SMRT mechanics checked every bendy that entered Woodlands the next day

really? or checked for just 1 day?
just as I was saying buying Citaro you need good maintenance
I used to think abt this matter for quite long and i still actually dun understand for WTF does SMRT need taxis under them also..Send all those taxis to taxi companies la for god's sake..Bus company concentrate on buses la.Like this taxi depot can have buses parking there??Imagine the chaos that wld b happening.I just dun get it why they love overcrowding their bus depots with taxis.Just imagine, without those taxis hogging the space there, there wld be so much of space being freed and all the buses especially the Bendies can park more spaciously there.Haiz i just cant understand this matter until nw. :(
