New Bedok Temporary Interchange

You know there is a field with lots of trees beside Bedok Int. Not long ago, 90% of the trees are cut down and make way for the Bedok Tempt Int. At this point of time, some of the roads are done and the construction of the boarding berth has also started. But just one thing, I got no idea how they sqeeze some many buses into that small tempt int~

might expect some jams though.. -
The construction had began since last month.
Poor planning.

Wonder will Tampines ever get it

I find Tampines Interchange ok.

I think those services that loop at bedok one like 17 18 60 69 etc can loop and call at bedok MRT bus-stop rather than they stop at int
in this way, can reduce congestion.

i was at that bus stop at 0745 this morning.packed with pte bus and taxis picking up pax at bus stop.

Prob is tat bus stop is equally jammed, I'd rather see tat Svs like 9, 35 would skip that bus stop for the swap

Would agree with this, if u wanted to take 969 but wished to stand, dont join the queue, coz the queue might just stop moving when all seats are taken. have to stand at the sides instead.

Imagine 1 long queue having 50+ people and only 20 plus board, no point to deploy bendies. Might as well make split shift for 969 all rigids and give the 2 bendies to 167 I believe these services really need bendies to hold the crowd already I took 619Z on 167 at that time it is so super packed.

35 can skip, but not 9. Cause usually when people alight from Bedok Int's alighting berth, walking to sv9's berth is a very long way, so people usually walk out to take. I would rather 9 or 35 do't start boarding at int and start it's first stop at Bedok Stn.

When it works out tat the looping buses gotta use the bus stops, the increased turnaround time n the created jam does not make sense for 9, 35 all these to make a call over there anymore -
They are going to fully utilise the whole land beside the current interchange right? It's bigger than the current one actually. Now some sixth sense tells me that it will resemble Boon Lay Temp Int...

No, it smaller. Same width, but shorter in length.

sv969 only need bendies during split shift.
