I don't think so. In fact it looks better and different than the normal rims of the Mercedes Benz buses. Reminds me of a coach, and reminds me of the Mercedes Benz O303 coach SBS used in the 1980s.
Another difference for these buses is the PIW area.
Are more Citaros being registered???
Heard that there are quite a lot of them now in the dealer premises...

You will have to upload it to YouTube or somewhere and post the link here

A KUB is 12m while a Citaro is 11.75m, both have the same width, 2.55m.

Hmm, the official specs sheets from MercedesBenz Singapore lists the Citaro as 11.95m.
Oops. Sorry for the Double Post.

You can either upload to facebook or youtube and paste the link here, or upload to a websites and copy the layout format out(I am not sure about this).
i saw one citaro at HGDEP today around 5.15pm. didn't see the rego as i was on a bus.
Saw 6000 along Hougang Ave 2/3 with BCs in it.
Going towards HGDEP...?

you have 300 buses coming in your way on most SBST services lol, relax.
regardless of the driver being identified or not does not mean that the service will defintely have the Citaros either.
I though SBS like to bulk order the parts & assemble themselves? suprise to c sbs oso import directly... Trying to compete wit SMRT to launch Citaro? XD
Seems like SBS Transit did a few of their own modifications or made some customisations.
1. Wheelchair-accessibility sticker on front bumper replaced with standard SBS Transit removable W.A.B. desto on front windscreen.
2. Offset rear LED display towards the left of the bus, as with most new SBS Transit buses but unlike a standard Citaro.
I wonder if they will have the visual next-stop display that is standard on all Mercedes Citaros, and are fitted on all of SMRT's Citaro buses (though only the production versions have them working - guess SMRT replaced what was probably the U.K. specification next stop display with their own).

The EDS display at the rear of the citaro can actually be a full width EDS, sbst probably opted for the small one and requested to put it on the left!
Actually the next stop display is also not really a standard item. They provide the space to install a next stop display, which smrt did for the production vehicles. Otherwise a standard Bus Stopping "STOP" light is placed there instead.

Seems like there are quite a few differences between SMRT's production Citaro buses and SBS Transit's Citaro buses, besides the few obvious ones (different LED displays, etc.).
