Put on 36 instead and enjoy the shiok feeling of going upslope on Benjamin Sheares Bridge.
Didn't see 6000. There are a few others Citaros inside there but I managed to catch a glimpse of 6005 and 6006

123 might be the first to get them since SBS8057K and SBS8067G are transferred out to SLBP.
Hmmm.....looks like they have the same engine as SMRT's.

They sound very much the same as the SMRT's Citaro when idling.

Because the bodywork is the default bodywork, always assembled by EvoBus, Citaros in custom bodyworks are rare.

Well. For me, I think the Citaros will go to routes like 5, 66, 506 where there are WABs but not enough make it a WAB route. So the Citaro will kick out the striders or DM3500 to replace the MK3 in some routes. Then, once there is enough Citaro to make it a WAB route, then the route will become WAB route.

Alrite thanks for the clarification. :)
If the same seat layout as SMRT ---- really no go.
I've ever mentioned tat 136 has e problem of a pretty cramped PIW turnaround area
Too cramped you've problems at busy bus stops turnaround time

most bus drivers i talked to claimed that Scania bus is smoother than Mercedes Benz and Scania engine can last longer than other brands like Volvo and Mercedes Benz.
It seems that this new Mercedes bus is having 6-speed auto tranny with engine max at 2,500 rpm? i'm driving Merc 315 van with 5-speed auto tranny
how often do you see Mercedes trucks vs Scania trucks?
haha

SembCorp & PSA are confirm uses of the Mercedes trucks
Commerically outside mostly are MAN or Scania

Obviously it will be, and there is no choice but to have this kind of seating arrangement.
SMRT's last Citaro is surrounded by SBST's citaros in Pandan Garden C&C.(Like literally. It was parked in the middle of the pack of SBST citaro and is still unregistered.)

:)
today while driving along braddell road towards bishan at around 10.08am, saw this sbs citaro coming out of BRBP. only saw a 'J' at the end of the rego so should be 6001 J. a few minutes later, i saw this other citaro moving in the opposite direction (i.e. towards toa payoh) on the braddell road flyover outside sph building.
6000L and 6001J to AMDEP.
And some facts
Interior nearly the same thing as the KUBs, only that the seats are PVC red and yellow-green for PIW "cushion" and priority seats.
They are the first buses in SBST to have Konvekta A/C. (Abit less interesting)
