Maybe I'll state what criteria I used
- Non industrial service
- Plying a decent mileage on New Towns
- Plying schools
- Plying CBD
- Freq of more than 15 mins, off peak loading to me ought not to be more than 70%.
in singapore, every where also congested.. it wont be possible to find much journeys which will be smooth sailing
eg from central to west side, theres only 2 ways, 4 roads
mandai/ SLE
and south side lornie/ bt timah
all these cross country journeys.. sure will encounter jams along the way one

are you experiencing the same thing everyday..
sometimes it might be due to some time adjustments done..
and as to whether you can complain to CASE, I don't think they will accept it but you can try if you wish to.
How about the notorious 156? ~20mins is the norm!
43 is a complement service for sv76...
The route is mostly the same except for YCK portion...

Or you will see the timings from SBST/SMRT website, If not DUN ANYHOW WHACK
sv190 already have daily evening downtrip departures from outside YMCA
966 is as regular as can be coz i see the bus everyday, if off schedule, die to jams AND NOT BUS not dispatch on time
401 is a park service more than adequate...
Service 154.
During peak/normal hour if encounter with rain or bad traffic condition can stretch very long. Just last friday i was waiting for 154. Spent around 40 min(7.50pm - 8.30pm) to wait 1 due to traffic condition. And one short come 5 at 1 time. I hope that if this case were to happen again SBS(SLBP Depot) can at least sent 1 bus for emergency pick-up cause some passenger can't had patience. I mean not all but there were bound to be some.

You sure about that? 232's frequency is just nice leh. if lambat at most it's due to Lor 4/Ctrl there... Other than that it's still okay.
235? Pax load is upto lor 5 there and from lor 5 again back to int. Lor 1/2/3 not much. Sometimes bus can bunch up summore, so you want to reconsider? Since admendment, bus freq for 235 has improved leh....
For me, i feel that these services should improve

That one no need anyhow whack, it's already a reality that they need help. For 190, it cannot be helped already. Downtrips, SWT and still facing overcrowding since that bus links people to/fro BP/CCK - City faster than trains. 700 helps 190, but at BP sector. So yeah.
180 has a very good frequency during AM peak towards Boon Lay Int. However, at the same time, it has irregular or bad frequency frm Boon Lay to Bt Panjang till now. ITE students waited almost 15-20 mins or even more for 180 to turn up. There was once between 7.30am - 8.00am only 1 bus turn up at around 7.50am where the Q strech till the service information board in Boon Lay Int. ITE Students start lesson at 8am and 8.30am.

i was referring to the SBST buses quoted by the post contributor
ACx
If heavy rain, no choice, all svcs confirm lambat. & some of buses need to downroute from elsewhere. Thus, the affected routes will have more than 30 mins of frequency.
every service sure have issue one... it all depend on different situations..
for example, if you need to take sv76 to YCK Mrt everyday.. so you know that the bus will arrive at your bus stop at around 8am everyday, so u go down at 7.57am to wait... from mon to thurs, the bus come on time at around 8am... you happy happy go work... then suddenly on friday, the bus come later at 8.10 or 8.15am due to some jam/accidents or some other issue...so you will not be happy and will complain......
I think Svc 5 is much of a bad... freq is 15 to 20 mins during off peak which is abit too long should cut down. and peak hour also very long when esp the traffic is high. today i was going sch by svc 5 around 8 15am, i checked my phone next bus: 5 mins, subst bus: 16 mins!!! on a peak hour how can wait so long?? Even svc 8 is faster that
for example: 1) Svc 8 from holy trinity to safra tamp, 2) wait for svc 5 and the 2nd svc 8 is alr coming aft 7 mins while waiting for my svc 5 which is 10 mins away...

how to?
The only way is to pull out buses from say 241 or 242 make freq become 8 mins.
1930 - 2030 the S shifts are returning to depot alrdy.

It's dispatch issue
The scheduling for 180 is not properly done

next bus 5min, subt bus 16 min. thats 11min frequency, quite normal. Cant compare with sv 8, sv 8 has many spilt shifts to cater for the TP and Ubi crowd.
Off peak sv 5 frequency is pretty bad, but the demand not there, and usually the demand is only one directional. Can be a chore to wait for sv 5 during off peak periods. They tried to improve sv 5 already, introducing Wrights, more DDs. Weekend sv 5 frequency can be improved though

Sv 5's peak within peak is before 0815 at Bedok Reservoir towards Bt Merah.
Rather at this time, Sv 8 would be more frequent due to Ubi crowd

I see you have not stop harping on this topic... of so many service why you had to harp on this 2? Slbp had it share of spare buses. I dun believe when non of them are all not available when this kind of stituation occur.

Weekend sv5 frequency can be maintained if DDs are deployed to improve customer service> pple need not stand on SD...

do you understand what I'm trying to say.
If it's so easy to pull buses out, prove it to me.
As if you've spare buses AND drivers.
Somemore 1930 - 2030 are the timing e S shifts returns to depot. The drivers had clocked 3 - 5 hrs earlier in AM peak alrdy. Not to mention there's a max weekly working hrs set by MOM.
If you think u know restriction, go write in. In any case it has occured before, they'll just pull out any buses on any running service if you looked at major MRT disruption over the years.
If I dun pull 241, 242 or 243 buses, which one do I pull? Sv 30's headways can be 14 mins (tell me 28 mins headways?), 198 is BBDEP, 157 same issue w/ 30.
So 40 mins headways I take it slot 1 in bet, 20 mins headways
End up Sv 30's headways become 30 mins now?
JIS as well. 257's freq is 25 mins. 193's 18 mins. Tat's why pull out from feeders sounds more logical. The max is 8 mins freq.
