Photo taken along Hoan Kiem Lake, near Hanoi's Old Quarter.
Transerco buses are mainly 2nd-hand Daewoos/Hyundai ones that are imported from the Republic of Korea.
One of the more popular buses here in temperate climates.
Solaris seems to have quite a following in Eastern Europe.
Pictured is a Solaris bus plying route 175 in Warsaw. EDS is, as typically Polish, not working. Route 175 is by far the most trafficked route in Warsaw, going through the Warszawa Centralna (Warsaw Central Train Station) to Fryderyk Chopin International Airport (WAW). Pickpockets galore on this route. Should you come to Warszawa one day, be wary if you board any bus on this route.
One of the longest bus routes in Europe at an incredible 36hr journey. Starting at Roma (Rome), the bus passes through Firenze (Florence), Bologna, Padova, Venezia Mestre (Venice), Klagenfurt, Graz, Wien (Vienna), Kaunas and Vilnius.
Photo was shot at Wien Erdberg U3 Autobusplatz, as Lithuanian-plated RVG 236 began check-in and boarding for the remaining 22hrs journey to Vilnius. Departing Roma Tiburtina Stazione at 7p.m (day 1) and ending the journey at 9.50a.m (day 3) goes down in my record books as my longest ever bus-ride.

Though Hyundai has Hyundai Vietmotors, but I don't think they make buses.

2 times in 3 days...
Had like 50 Polish ZÅ‚otys per pocket and I separated 150 ZÅ‚otys into three pockets. Two pockets-full of cash stolen. FML.
Have heard worse stories about route 175, like for instance I know one S.Korean chap who got his wallet pickpocketed. With almost 700 ZÅ‚otys inside. CCTVs in the buses don't help at all. WTH.

One of the cutest looking buses I've seen. Picture was shot in Rome, near the Altare della Patria (aka Monumento Nazionale a Vittorio Emanuele II). Dedicated to n4l...

Technically, there is no longer any true border between any of the countries in the Eurozone...
Though currency-wise, not every European country in the Eurozone uses the Euro. Which sounds quite ironic actually. LOL. The worse experience was actually on the bus in Polish territory.
After Wien (Vienna), the bus leaves into Czech Republic territory (where there is only a small restroom break) and dinner is at a pit-stop in Polish territory along the E-75 tollway. Rubbish siah that place. The pitstop only accepts cash in Polish ZÅ‚otys and accepted Euros (which I had since I stopped in Italy and Austria where they do use the Euro) at a ridiculous exchange rate. I went without dinner.

Sorry my above was for bus crossings.
With regards to border-crossing via rail, there are still periodic checks for contraband.
The Left one is VOLVO OLYMPIAN and the right one is ALEXANDER DENNIS ENVIRO 500.
