From their FB: No mention of Larkin though.
5am 1st bus is really overkill.
The bus fare is pwning their CW2. S$2 from Newton Circus, RM2.50 from JB.

but tat's to Jurong
now updated it does ply to Larkin.
So it's Larkin > JB CIQ > WDL CIQ > Newton.
if freq not very good also no pt.
I'm thinking how epic the layover of their buses would go at Newton FC
This is funny.. China press says CW5 from Kota Raya II. 10 buses would be dispatched (Headways in this case could be 20 mins a bus).
3 more CW routes to be implemented
1) Bt Indah > Boon Lay Int. This one is going to be epic
2) JB > RWS
3) JB > MBS

haha. who knows it operates from the temp bnl int haha :P ...
there should be high demand from this svc when it operates from bnl .. easier for the JIS workers to get back to JB ..

I think the one in bold will ease the CW3 crowd

agreed. but maybe it'll have to loop at the long taxi stand outside, or somehow LTA lets them use the temporary bus interchange (if it's still there?).

Well it's hard to figure until the whole new svs begins to roll out.
But prob is tis Boon Lay is likely no go into e BNL Int.

w/ Handal Indah's standard of layover lineup, they're best not placed at roadside else 2 - 3 buses hoarding the whole place. Temp Int is kinda ideal
They love to park as many buses they could (6 - 7) at Jurong East for no reason. Part of e reason gotta do w/ e clustered departure of CW3, CW4, CW3S/ CW4S at 1730 and 1820 w/ e backlog.
I think elsewhere there's articles stating it's JB CIQ <> Newton for CW5.
If the RWS route is JB CIQ <> RWS, I think LTA is pwning themselves for allowing duplicating bus routes esp if one were to use PBS guideline.

Routes are determined by LTA for our side
In any case, refer to their FB, there's something going on 'additional' stop at Jln Ahmad Ibrahim
A 1980s style bus stop shelter set up at Newton FC car park.
no or few takers
The high floor EDS KUBs are dispatched. Monster size tyres they've
Freq is like 20 mins a bus.
CW2 & SJE still full house
Those office workers at Shenton Way if they know can save $$ by taking CW5 le
Take MRT > Bugis $0.71 + $2.40 = $3.11
Take MRT > Newton $0.91 + $2 = $2.91. Can easily save RM10 a month
. Dismantling CW2's biz I can say.
Somemore CW5 might be less crowded for the first few months.

From wat I forsee is the CW5 might end up become a weekend peakish service. Weekdays it's only the peak hour crowd tat you'll see mostly.
I mean e bigger common market if they wanna shop will head to places like Bugis w/ better bargaining deals.
But I could easily factor in e fact tat more ppl might decide to commute in and out of JB daily instead of renting a room here.

It shows how poor their planning are. How to run a bigger bus company like tat? They're only lucky tat everything is subsidised, so e real cost over all these wastages are masked.
Now come to think of it... For a typical visiting M'sian
Take TS8: To Orchard RM5, return S$4. Total: RM14.60
Take CW5 > bus/ MRT: RM2.50 + S$1: RM4.90. Return: S$1 + S$2 = S$3. Total RM12.10
EDS should be from Lumiplan.
