SBS bus surveillance

  Hi, my friend is involve in a legal case

  Apparrently, he need a video footage from one of the ride to prove his innocence, but i'm told by the police that i need a couple of weeks to obtain that footage. May i know why it takes so long or is that information given by the police inaccurate?

  yes, because to retrieve the cctv footage requires several levels to be approved

   Talking about these CCTV, anyone noticed that some of the Scanias has an extra CCTV installed outside the middle top rear of the bus, the edge near the roof???

  From what I noticed, most of them are based in the East district.

  yup, it's very handy when there's RTAs being involved..

  at least can see who correct or wrong and what actually happen.. still remember the case recently whereby an old man say the bus move off when he is alighting and want to claim SBST. The CCTV show otherwise...

  No. Actually some Ang Mo Kio based buses also have them.

  I think is the SBS5xxxx series KUBs are having them now...

  spotted SBS5176U having a CCTV at the rear middle top (just above the rear windscreen)..
