Agree, SBST should strike a balance between safety and speed. Instead of slow down at road junction, some of them are hogging at the road junction. -

They're heavy vehicles after allUsually if they're too fast, it'll end up become beat red light. It's not like driving car
Tat's why never ever follow heavy vehicles near traffic junctions or turning points.

Furthermore w/ the way how ppl stand onboard e buses, it's scary if there's a need to brake.

though we know that driving large vehicles is not as easy as driving a car & such......
let's face it. SBST drivers hog. we don't even ask for the driver to chiong.
we just want him to go because the light is green & still green & will remain green for the next 20seconds.

For tis part there's scheduleit's not easy to plan schedule.. chiong type later accident RTA en-route or jam lambat dip dip, ppl also kpkb

The bus driver (not sure if hes running out of time or what) is going on a self-suicide mission. He started speeding up the bus when he turns in to Sembawang Road from Mandai Road. Then at Chong Pang he jammed brake after speeding to the bus stop.
He almost banged onto a car at Northpoint Junction as he speeds up and turns right into Northpoint bus stop, and he purposely sped up and then he overshot and almost couldnt turn in to the interchange, almost crashing into the OC500LE on the other direction. -

2 Split shift buses were used for 1st and 2nd bus. SMB133K followed by SMB129Z.
After that, there were 3 more buses, taken from other services, to help 971E, which are SMB122S SMB134H and TIB584P. -
Buses on Express 971E today:
2 Mercedes-Benz OC500LE (Gemilang) Batch 2
SMB129Z (WLDEP 858)
SMB131R (WLDEP 858)So, 971e is a WLDEP service.
