  I've realised this budget has far reaching implications and too many clauses, so I'm going to indv all posting

  All info taken from LTA webbie

  MRT

  - Opening of MRT lines in phases

  • CCL4/ 5 in Oct 2011.  CCLe 2012.
  • DTL (CBD leg Bugis - Chinatown) 2013
  • NSLe 2014
  • DTL2 2015
  • Tuas Extn 2016
  • DTL3 2017

  Signal upgrading works for compass lines will commence this year

  BFA: Overhead bridges near MRT Stations to be fitted w/ lifts

  Aljunied, Bishan, Khatib, Kranji, Sengkang, Yew Tee.

  Bus fleet replacement

  • ARF scrapped. In hope for 400 more new bus procurement (incl ADD!) this year!

  30 crowded bus stops will be upgraded.

  Integrated public tpt hubs planned for Bt Panjang, Hougang Ctrl, Yishun

  1) C'wealth Ave West/ Clementi Stn pair

  2) Nth Buona Vista Rd/ Buona Vista Stn pair

  3) Jln Toa Payoh/ Trellis Tower pair

  4) Eunos Link/ Blk 302 pair

  5) Woodlands Centre Rd/ WDL CIQ (M'sian commuter crowd)

  6) Alexandra Rd/ Alexandra Hospital pair.

  419 is projected for this yr's procurement

  Hope w/ this ARF scrap, SBS could reconsider to purchase a little more ADD instead. Fine w/ 2x ADD w/ me

  I hope they will buy more on top of the 1 to 1 replacements for the current old fleet.

  Currently exclude the ones from 2000 onwards, which are the Dennis Tridents, there are at least 600 double deckers need to be replaced.

  I also hope they get more Citaros to replace the single deckers as well with this ARF scrap.

  Wahahahah

  Now the SMRT trains do not head back to depot empty aft their last full trip.

  Saw some trains operating Joo Koon > Jurong East at around 10am.

  There's always localised jams these days. Some trips could be lengthened by 4 mins during this transition period should there be lots of trains heading back to depot.

  In any case, CCL e Paya Lebar SWT still indicate DBG Terminating Pt number.

  LTE trains also like that... terminate at aljunied then desto put tanah merah..
