Diversion of bus services at Jurong East/West Ave 1

  Massive jam due to road works. Buses diverted away from Ave 1 as much as possible

  it depended on e pace of road repave

  It started from yesterday (though repaving works actually started last week from Parc Oasis tat side).

  I did saw 185 diverted to using Jurong East St 31 at ard 1pm. Aft 2pm, buses made to skipped Ave 1 totally.

  it all depends on OCC's instruction to every BC prior to commencing trips from BNL. not too sure for 99 & 185

  then 157/185 must go long way lor

  JE Ave 1 > turn right to JE St 31 > turn left to Boon Lay Way > Jurong Town Hall Rd(orignal route)

  so today which part is affected?

  is it all Ave 1 services use diversion method?

  Sv 157 used Jurong Rd straight. Follow 174's routing.

  I think 198 used Corporation Rd, Boon Lay Way.

  not too sure abt 333, 334 & 335.

  BNL Int placed e notice at departure TV screen

  Sv 98, 99, 157, 185, 198, 333, 334, 335, 502 are affected and may skip Jurong East/ West Ave 1.

  Repaving works at Jurong Town Hall Rd/Jurong East Ave 1 junction & Jurong East Ave 1 between St 32 & Jurong Town Hall Rd?

  Road widening project of Jurong Town Hall Rd between PIE & Boon Lay Way create some problems for buses plying these road

  both are in progress actually.. I saw some new kerbs at Boon Lay way near Corp Rd junction eastbound..

  reason why resurface is because of the level of drain holes which is located at one row of road kerb does not match with the road surface level

  each lanes at jurong west/east ave 1 is not enough space to let the bigger vehicles pass through when both beside got vehicle, especially jw ave 1/st 41, jw ave 1/st 52/st 42 junction there

  A lot of stretches of Jurong East/West Ave 1 have road surface below the kerb drain level, some near bus bay/junctions/traffic lights

  Road widening is not e issue, is it expected increase in traffic load.

  Tat why I guess they've decided to let 157 use Jurong Rd. 99, 185, 198 left behind.

  So I guess it's going to go on for e next coming days

  Didn't expect they will resurfaced this stretch of road as it has high volume of traffic flows throughout a day

  In the past, any road works(except cables/gas works) along this stretch of road are usually done after peak hours and/or wkends/PHs

  normally stop around 9-10pm++ for night works but now if you cause any inconvenience to others on anytime of the day, ppl will ASAP shoot letters to Stomp/ST/LTA/relevant authorities...

  The JE Ave 1 (towards IMM) is not affected at all. And there is no bus diversion as of now.

  e jam is e one tat made e bus diversion as well

  I think e residents walk home is faster than e bus
