  Huh? I don't remember 14 plying Bedok Ctrl. But it's just a different route to UEC.

  Right now crudely 160 has dispatch issues with the current fleet. Not to mention extending it to Larkin or even thinking of fleet reduction.

  in any case, the line up of 160, 170 & 170X has to take into consideration e combi min 20 trips per 60 mins slot during peak hours.

  That's the problem of using only one bus model on 160. I bet SBS Transit must purchase more buses to replace the Mark IIIs.

  Issue is usually not enough drivers. There's 7 spare Sv 160 buses as s_238 mentioned above.

  Any case like wat tammy has said, there's enough capacity to go around for 170 Red plate.

  I hope that they can get MAN bus for service 160 and 170. Maybe 100 MAN NL series or LionCity.

  Too short? I thought it would be about 45 mins during off peak to an hr plus during peak hrs... The 4 expressways alone take up about the length of svc. 858 from Lentor to CGA.

  The short I mention is because that it isn't meaningful to create a trunk route with less than three estates.

  I doubt the bus can be faster by plying along AYE and CTE.

  Unless you need a service from Bukit Batok to AYE(NUS). Else I think it make more economical sense by plying along Commonwealth Ave West, Commonwealth and Kampong Bahru instead.

  In any case, I think many still have no idea how bus routes are created nor even proper terms like New Town are uses. Everything estate, estate. Strictly speaking the only big estate is Marine Parade

  For example there's no pt in creating routes like CCK to AMK via jam prone expressways and still incurr distance. Somemore many of the routes does not even consider possible bus to bus transfer point to increase loading. Another thing is traffic scheme. It's not possible for buses to keep right at Newton Circus bus stop and proceed to Bt Timah Rd towards KK.

  1st>No Commonwealth Ave and Kampong Bahru....i ply to all these place is to have direct buses to Balestier Road and Whampoa

  2nd>Some is duplicated from 124 and 5 only some..
