And facts will be facts. 179/ 179A contribute 20% to BNL's overall traffic volume. 20,000 out of 100,000 ppl per day. Even if I go on and add PNR station's volume of 65,000, not all goes to 241.

Whether the distance is short or long it doesn't matter. As long the demand is there, no of buses deployed means there are demand. They will do the necessary reduction if there is a need to. From my observation, svc 241 also pick up loading along Pioneer Rd Nth and even Blk 649A itself in the morning.

It does matter for type of buses dispatched. Ever wondered why 96 does not get any ADD all these years? SBS has it's way of giving priority of ADD to long highly utilized tts. Imagine I provide mostly SD for 198

Before there's any counter over empty buses seen on 179 at 0930 - 1020.. Simply those buses are forced to 'downroute' by timekeeper from 1st bus stop.

160 & 170 ops quite smooth on e ground (not iris for some trips). 170X quite kilat even during off peak hours.
178's headways issue still there even though there's no lorry formup and traffic was smooth.

i'll get more $$ from NTU pax than from Street 91 pax & i wouldnt even substantiate my claim.
they put VO2x on 179 & LO3x/VO3x on 179A to motivate ppl take 179A but in all honesty, no one's taking 179A unless they're taking the bus out from Boon Lay home....
Why are the Street 91 residents so important? Tampines Street 32/33 residents don't make so much noise despite 10+min freq, 20-min to home from int trips & bunching on 291.

Actually wat I noticed is South Spine ppl are forced to take tat downroute 179A. Else hard to board 179 one.
CW1 does indeed loop at JB CIQ.

SMB51M has it's back EDS placed back on.

The whole rear EDS spoilt? I think it has the same problem as rear EDS of TIB838H, always stick on 'off service'
