Hi everyone,
As I have written in earlier posts, I would like to work as a Bus Captain in Singapore (I have 10+ years experience driving double decker and articulated buses in Germany).
I'll arrive in Singapore shortly.
Has anyone seen any recruitment fairs of SBS recently?
This is my last posting from freezing Germany
Hope to meet some of you in Singapore soon!

hope to see you in Singapore! (:
don't mind if i ask...
how much are you receiving over there? you may give a range.. if it's more comfortable for you, feel free to drop me a private msg...
Hope to see you join SBS Transit as a BC, it's great to see a foreigner driving our local buses.
You can also join them by applying through their website or you can also walk in to their depots to apply as well.
I believe you are experienced enough to drive our double decker buses. You might just join at the right time, as we are going to have hundreds of new Wright Volvo B9TLs coming in the coming years.

even though he may have prior experience driving DDs / articulated buses, he still has to go through the PTO's SOP before being allowed to operate these high capacity vehicles (ie. minimum 1 year in service), as additional and intensive training is required which banks on one's experience driving regular buses.

I'm making about 12 EUROS an hour, that's about 20 SGD/hour.
I'm opening a new thread for another question.

average hourly pay for a bus captain in SBST is about $6.50 to $7.50 per hour, that would translate to a 60 - 70% pay cut for you..
