- SBS Transit's Volvo B10M MKII to Indonesia's Batam Island (if I remember correctly), now used as tourist buses?
- Several SBS-era double-decks to Hong Kong and China (with new doors fitted in China due to different driving sides there)
- And now, SBS Transit's MB O405 buses and a few of SMRT's Scania L113CRL ELBO buses to Thailand, to serve as citybuses in Bangkok
Did I miss anything?
Our 2 Vo2x that are enjoying their life in UK right now.
I don't get it. If bus running on CNG there has to be a gas tank on rooftop. How did the thais manage without it?
Anyway, what does the sentence "Scania has no use for citybus in Thailand" mean? What type of engine are they putting in the CRLs? Cummins?

well it is still 2 buses that were sent over, regardless of whether they have met with an accident or destroyed by fire or eventually scrapped. and SBS7204R was not completely destroyed by fire, only the radiator caught fire. i wonder who gave you that misconception...

That is for low floor buses only, there are L113CRBs and O.405s in Sydney and Perth (Mercs) which have gas tanks below.

no without gas tank.
Most Citybus in Th. has two steps floor.Gas tanks live under the floor
Front engine, gas tanks live the rear of bus
Rear engine,it lives under the floor or roof top
MB DM/WA and MB O405,MAN by BMTA
gas tanks live under the floor.
If bus has none/one step floor,Gas tank will on the top roof same Chinese bus.
about sentence "Scania has no use for citybus in Thailand"
it means : in Th. most citybus use....
Japanese brand : Hino Isuzu UD Mitsubishi
Chinese brand : Dongfeng Higer Yutong Hengtong Sunlong(Golden Dragon) ZhongDhong
Europe brand : MB (MAN Ikarus Volvo in the past.)
Scania hasn't use for citybus in Bangkok but It's use for Inter-city Bus

I found at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bangkok_Mass_Transit_Authority
I don't understand Organizer in wiki don't call this bus "O405" this body look same all the world.
and BMTA tell only chassis number more than call model.
In 1991 BMTA called MB Padane was "OF1617" etc.
The both of bus were regist in 1991 but BMTA Isuzu red-cream bus still no withdraw wait 4000 new buses soon.
