Why Sembawang has fewer bus service than others?

  If you aren't happy, then you walk from Sembawang to Admiralty, or Sembawang to Yishun, or better, Sembawang-Admiralty-Woodlands, Simple as that.

  furthermore.. sembawang is really inaccessible. only woodlands and yishun next to it. ever noticed its not really connected to these 2 towns? u need to past by big empty fields or industrial estates to reach yishun/woodlands, like an island. 

  Service 167 and 980 have been there years before Sembawang New Town even existed.

  980 or 167 can be diverted somewhere in the middle to prevent duplication that is oh so very long

  Simply because it is not growing as fast as Sengkang and Punggol, most people rather choose those two towns than Sembawang.

  via what route? BPJ rd, BKE, woodlands ave 3, ave 7 and sembawang way? ave 1, ave 4, ave 7 would be beneficial imo..

  178 might be best, because of WDL Checkpoint.

  I though of extension 852 to sembawang and 882 to yishun..

  852 will play yishun ave 2/ctrl2/ave2/ave7/sembawang rd/ave/crescent/way/canberra rd.

  882 extend to yishun via sembawang dr/ave/rd/yishun ave 3/ctrl/ave2

  oh yeah s for 167/980 to reduce duplication:

  167 will ply canberra link/yishun ave 2/3/sembawang rd

  980 will ply sembawang rd/amk ave 1/marymount rd/thomson rd

  MRT is the cheapest better fastest way out of Sembawang.. 
  buses... no matter what, commuters will have to pass by yishun (Sembawang Road/thomson or ave 2). this roads have high traffic.
  or woodlands.. (99% of buses which pass through sembawang ends at woodlands)

  this one is cannot escape one. also makes me think that taking buses to sembawang is slow. unless, unless, expressway services are introduced.

  expressway, "nearest" and fastest will be via woodlands ave 12

  The only way an expressway service is introduced that bypasses yishun or woodlands would be if SBST introduced such service...but doubt they would ever do so

  There  berth 3 left empty in sembawang bus interchange. Maybe Smrt can like extend some bus service to there. Making use of the the empty berth3.

  There already 962 and 858 from WRI, Don't think its necessary for 964 to terminate at SBW as 858 some of 964 route.

  That a very long trip. Maybe can extend 187? its passes by bp ,bukit batok and jurong east.

  Might be hell yes, but Hope it serves residents from Sembawang to Boon Lay on Sundays/PH though.

  a better choice would be extend 180 plying 171 route to yishun and up....
