  Have you taken the bus itself, if not who are you to judge how good the bus is? If not, as in this case, you are making yourself look stupid. Judging a book based on the cover is sometimes suicide.

  Should be. Since 179 goes to NTU. But wonder why it isn't 199.

  Hmm... thats interesting... nanyang drive between nie and ntu seems to be getting fenced up for the yog. the route of 179 will stay the same? any ideas anyone?

  new "YOG revised temporary" shuttle service : 1 - 29 August 2010
  
  Route : Chinese Heritage Ctr SPMS Hall 7 School of Biological Sciences lobby (u-turn) Chinese Heritage Ctr
  
  Shuttle D : Current Route from Pioneer MRT Admin Bldg bus stop come back down ADM Pioneer MRT (on opposite route back)
  
  New YOG shuttle for workers/volunteers from Boon Lay MRT Station.
  
  179 will follow Shuttle D route.
  199 will loop at traffic junction of Jalan Bahar/Nanyang Ave. 199 will not enter NTU.

  There's actually 3 shuttles operated by yog side in addition to ntu-d and yog internal shuttle. 2 shuttles from bnl temp int, 1 via bahar entrance and another via pioneer north. Another shuttle would be for ppl who need to park their cars at jurong sports hall to ntu.

  Also, was in ntu today. the fuel cell bus was "On Test" today within ntu internal road network. curtains removed and full body ad applied regarding the fuel cell bus trial. ez-link not installed as i understand the bus would be for yog shuttle within the village itself until end of august. and the EDS seems like it is able to display two or more colours. "On Test" was in Red and Orange.

  YOV itself has an internal shuttle

  and another shuttle from Boon Lay/Pioneer to YOV/NTU.

  In all, there will be two hybrid buses that will be deployed on Service 185, which plies between Soon Lee Depot and the Buona Vista Terminal, serving residents in Jurong East, Jurong West and Clementi. Both the fuel cell and hybrid trials will commence in August 2010 and are expected to last a year.

  Take note, the first 2 photos are of the hydrogen fuel cell bus, and the next two are of the Sunlong. Can be identified using the grabpoles.
