The ad on upcoming Nex's tenant is up on today's ST (Page A16 & A17) w/ breakdown of their exact level and location.
The bus hub would be at B2, same level w/ Cold Storage (Fairprice Xtra would be located at L3). There's even a detailed drawing of the bus int layout!
17 parking bays (15 vertical lots, 2 parallel lots) with only 3 sawtooth berths.
3 sawtooth berths for likely 81, 82, 100, 101, 103, 103W, 105, 109, 315, 317. If 158 gets amended, 1 berth would need to end up w/ additional side berths as like wat happens to 194 & 255 at BNL!
Bus Int is getting smaller n smaller and still want 10 mins QoS
In any case, earliest bus int start ops is in Dec (sounds logical being sch hol). 1 yr aft BNL
10 routes with only 17 parking bays... means an average of 1.7 bays per service.
dont think they can handle.

if 158 dun gets any amendments, ratio would be 1.54
Actually the Old Serangoon Int is too big. Can put in a lot of services, with too many parking bays.
Now, the bus interchange becomes too small, with too little parking lots. LOL....
Probably they might integrate some services with passing by services.
And deleting some services with the opening of Circle Line.
Service 24 highly possible.
81 to become loop service? LOL...
anyway the main entrance is gonna be at Upp Serangoon Road right?

that's a challenge even for jumpbus (about 2 bays during mealbreaks)

For bus int, there's no such things as being too big tbh.
You'd rather a spacious interchange than a cramped one where BCs or SLs kpkb abt wasting breaktime over senseless waiting.
Also if there's a growing need for a new bus sv, no problem onto starting one.
Hope they would not intergrate current services, i.e. 103 with 315, when the new int start.
Cheers.
if CCL rationalisation affects many service, serangoon will again be a convenient dumping ground... dont think will have enough lots.. sv100 alone can take up 4 lots most of the day
So little services calling there how to be public transport hub?
continue use old interchange lor. demolish that small a/c bus int and rebuilt with bigger a/c bus int!

see parking lots.... all got buses!
wow! really a transport hub!
From wat I know, LTA wanted to shift the interchange nearer to CCL for dunno watever reasons. So tell u suck thumb w/ e smaller land. But dun make sense if they want to implement some hubs and spoke basis.
I think more because w/ CCL better price to sell away the MSCP land for development. Can collect better property tax in the long run also MBT wins in any case.
