I hope there's a bus terminal inside MBS.
502 is very fast from Toh Guan to Orchard if there's no jam.
And 502 does use PIE for return route to Jurong. Else what other roads can it use after Scotts Rd/ Thong Teck bus stop?
As for the long wait, dun remind of the X'mas eve stun. They closed the road totally incl public buses at 2300.

Service 502 will be amended to loop at MBS IR and then return back to Jurong East / Jurong West via ECP and AYE. Will not ply Orchard area twice.

Same like Express 521 last time. The constraints for this express service is too many stops, no express linkage and the travelling time was horrible, I feel that this service shouldnt be an Express bus even it was introduced.
This service was extended to Woodlands, converted into trunk service and renumbered as 963, after feedback from commuters about Express 521.

Then wat abt ppl heading from Bedok Reservoir or Toa Payoh to Bt Batok Ind Area or vice versa (Bt Batok -> Toa Payoh)?
Define too many stops when Bedok Reservoir itself has a long list of bus stops. Later start leapfrogging, ppl kpkb why must walk to next stop when fares are alrdy high. There's nothing abt stopping at residential areas imo.
Unless SBS re-route Sv 59 to Bt Batok instead of Bishan, next will see ppl kpkb why tis and tat.
high fares deter joy rider and high volumes of passengers... so express services act as a faster, comfortable service
