1 thread cannot reach out to many people, as some of us are scattered in Singapore Buses and others are scattered in Singapore Trains.

Lock la...... So obvious Trains la..... No traffic lights........ u post this only for more posts rite? >.<
Go to school for me:
Even though it takes maximum 50 minutes to reach RP from my house, I need to walk to Chinese Garden MRT station for about 10 minutes which is very tough.
In contrast, I don't mind taking 10 to 15 more minutes (total 60 to 65 minutes) to walk to WRI and take 187 home from WRI after school as bus stop is already on my doorstep.
But during lesson time, I should take MRT so as to rush to there..........
People living in Segar Road can take 922 to BPJ or Bangkit Road in order to change into truck service. But if they miss the front bus, they have to wait for another 15 to 20 minutes for ANY DIRECTION of bus to come. As well as walk to either Segar LRT station or Fajar Station.
Bus
although stop at traffic lights
but it can go directly to the place u wan (by bus)
Bus
Can sleep on bus, nobody snap at you sleeping

can sleep on MRT.. must choose which seats to prevent embarrassment
and i love bus rides for sleeping.. but if rushing for time + tired then just sleep on the train...
both has its pros & cons..
if I'm pressed for time then it would be the train but if not then it would be buses..
in short, I support both..

Singapore Buses
Advantages
- Better Connectivity
Commuters can board buses at their doorstep and transfer to other bus services to reach their destinations but commuters may need to walk or transfer more to reach their closest MRT or LRT station.
- Seat Availability (applicable only during off-peak hours for most bus services)
Commuters will be able to have a seat on the bus during off-peak hours but there will still be no seats in trains during off-peak periods.
- Longer Idle Time
Commuters will be able to stay in the bus for a longer period to finish reading books, newspapers or sleep more.
Disadvantages
- Frequencies, Travel Time, Traffic Jams, Bus Delays (fan pai), Bus Breakdowns

Better connectivity of course, but mrt is improving.
Longer idle itime ? Thats a disadvantage as far as i can see.
Seat Availability ? About the same as mrt, depending on bus number you take. Bias comment obviously.
This thread and the other one in Singapore Trains had proved flammable as bus and rail fans made sarcastic comments about me and the birth of these two threads. In that case, I apologise to all bus and rail fans for the problems I had caused through the creation of these two threads. Tamago, ZYX2005, SBS9816E, please lock this thread. Thank you.
