i would agree with this point. Look at 9489R. Got laid up last year due to accident. Very jialat. Now, it's running. I would say that the buses would be fixed

with the info that 9888Y was involved, i have a feeling that the buses are (mostly, if not all) sv25 buses.
yes..looking at the pictures, these are sv 25 buses... at the exit area of AMDEP.. which Sv 25 buses park... luckily it happen there..... if it happen somewhere else, i foresee more buses gone...
fixed it or not, most likely depend on whether engine damage or not? the bodywork can be easily rebuilt, but if engine damage.... then think difficult...

I think they will fix the b9s. But for the Lo and Vo and 9888 can prepare say bye bye. -

are you the insurance underwriter? unless you're able to provide me the salvage costs compared to the scrap costs, then you can make comments. accident damage will always be easier to repair than damage by fire.

looks like the area not that badly damaged. the damage seems confined to the top.

I think that the VO3x that is affected most probably is SBS9619H. Cause i infer from 3rd Pic the left portion of the pix. The rear of the bus seems to be coffeemix ad.

Perhaps majority of buses involve could be frm 25. since it happen at 25 parking due to 9888Y.

Perhaps SMRT could take this incident seriously.
If a fire spark out at their depot, perhaps the consequences could be even worse than this. -
seriously amdep needs to take stringent measures to prevent this incident from happening again.

again? the last fire was in 1995 which was 15 years ago. its not like fires are breaking out in amdep every other month or so..

This shld mean 25 will have cameos, then probably redeployments... Sadly, the VSO demo gone, but on the brighter side, I hope that some special redeployments will be made....
