92 demand is crazy

3/3B cross-over. Seen a few bus fans who managed to snap and post a picture of it on 3 (At PSR and PGL). None on 3B though.
Use Internet Search engines =)

For BNDEP, to add on to those mentioned, it appeared on svcs 37 and 68.
Clarifiaction about the regos of the Darts on 58 & 109 -
SBS8016D on 109 (in early 2007) as breakdown replacement
SBS8018Z on 58 (in Jul 2007)
Though I nv took it when it cameo on 109, I remember there was another Dart did cameo on the service other than SBS8016D right?
Cheers.
Didn't see any Darts on 92 today. (or rather yesterday, ha ha)

Depot shifting from the old JRBP to the new SLBP lol.
Service 183 (not the current route) might have Darts before earlier on when converted from NAC to FAC somewhere in 2000-2001. When service 182 (NAC) and service 183 (FAC) routes merged in 2002, the integrated service 182 (now PAC) had Darts for a while before it switched to a CAC Volvo MK2 WA perm (I can't remember the rego).

No chance to see Darts on service 92 anymore...
Why??
SBS8013L Non-User Lay-Up Status till 08 Jan 2011...
Source from one motoring website...
Now left the 5 remaining ones from BNDEP.
Gonna miss the Darts. One of the fastest buses with the Allison gearboxes when I took it on 92 years back. Now the only chance is on 42.
Guess the era for public midibuses is going to be over soon. Since demand for these services has been increasing and roads have become wider. I thought there will be new Alexander Dennis Enviro 200 from SBST in future.

Dont lost hope though.
With the central bus planning coming up soon, i foresee alot of the current services will be cut and in return, we might see some new routes that serve more of the housing estate. If the operations is justify for midibus to be on the route, i dont see reason why midibus will not make a comeback in Singapore. We just gotta wait.
Cheers :D

Actually I'm not very optimistic about this LTA central bus planning, especially in speculation that bus routes might be cut, leaving commuters lesser choices of direct journeys, which might in turn make public transport undesirable instead. They just don't want to improve the basics: make current bus services faster and more accessible. I'm already turn off by the number of bus route cuts for the past decade, especially the NEL rationalisation. Service 128 can be made faster and more direct to offer commuters a better alternative to rail, but the authorities just won't bother to improve it further.
I don't think midibuses will come back, based on our more overpopulated population in future. Bus operators need more higher capacity buses instead to meet the higher demands. Midibuses just don't make any sense now for meeting future demands.

Now many people are unhappy with the crowded train situations, and they are switching to buses. If the authorities are taking away these alternatives from commuters in future, I guess they will eventually switch back to their own transport. And how about those commuters who prefer to take buses and prefer direct connections by buses???
People like alternatives, and the current should be improved and not worsen. If the rail comes to a stop one day, then people will still have to take a bus or a cab, which is more versatile and flexible. To much control on public transport doesn't do any good either.
