of all midi buses SBS ever had, Dennis Darts are really e best
sort of able to cater for medium - high load

If I am not wrong they are only 15 years then put to lay-up already. Volvo MK3s in fact are the older buses that have reached 17 years of lifepan.Another case of buses that gets laid-up early other than the SMRT's ELBO CAC Scanias
IIRC, Dennis Dart is younger than LO3X, but sad to see that it's going off earlier than expected.
Cheers.

You can still catch it on Sv 42. i feel they should just lay up 8009 8012 8015 also. those 3 are also quite inactive. maybe they keep one of them just in case 8016 8018 cant come into svc.

Yes saw most of it on 42 when I was at Kembangan MRT 2 weeks ago. Sad to know that all these midi buses would be part of history soon, as SBST does not have the intention to buy some more of this buses to replace the current one. I still remember that when Dennis Dart 1st introduce, the bell poles were all luminous green.
Cheers.
sadded. darts no refurbishment and extension.
SBS8013L on Service 92 Sad to see the darts go so early. they were sooo damn CUTE!
guess i was a late to catch their pics then...

will be there too. camping. :)
Will get my pictures soon too...
Quite surprise to see an early withdrawal by SBST. Hope to catch one soon.
Cheers.
these buses can drive smoothly in small roads unlike 11m buses.
i wonder sv 42 route can fit with those 11m buses?

maybe due to its passenger capacity nowdays and roads are widening compared to the past.

aiya in e long run as I've mentioned, to get more ppl to take public tpt, private housing estate areas bus svs would have to be improved.
Only problem is ppl over there prefer 'quiet' env + usage of cars though it's always jammed during peak hrs.
