Service 980 went under full AMDEP controlled when 950 was introduced. Somehow it went back to partial WLDEP again after a short period of time for whatever reasons. -

it existed for exactly 30 years. The only modification was done in 1984, whereby the interchange extended its sheltered space and expanded with new berths created so as to contain the services which were previously serving from Chai Chee Ter, and had been amended to Bedok Int when Chai Chee Ter was closed permantely for HDB developments. Before that, the interchange was clustered with small sheltered berths, as per in its original layout of 1979. -

anw its going to get redeveloped soon right?but to be honest...having used this int almost everyday, im quite used to its run down condition...

hmm, most likely it will get redeveloped in the next few years.. despite its aging and rundown condition of the bus interchnage that might consider getting the green light for upgrading. -
Hmm, OCs on 858 -- so Changi Ariport Services would become a haven on new buses (the KUBs and OCs together)

SBS 8033 D and SBS 8030 L do 143
Bendy on 307, 171 and 945[do b4, just never see :( ]
Hino on 300 and 302
SMB 135 E on other AMDEP service instead of keep doing 854 all the time[I know is close to impossible for this bus to cameo bt I just hope for it anyway..]
OC on 302 again[Best is SMB1H on 302 :P]
DAF on any KJDEP service exclude on 176, 188 and 307 since I saw it on this 3 service before...
SBS 9810 X redeploy back to 143 again :P
Remove some B9TL from 143 fleet and add in more VSO for 143
Some dennis lance to be in KJDEP[can't help bt to imagine seeing Dennis Lance on KJDEP service :P]
Some DAF to be in AMDEP and WLDEP[Also can't help bt to imagine seeing DAF on AMDEP and WLDEP service :P]

Sooner or later, 143 will be under full SLBP control. So you can continue dreaming on. SLBP side already gave 143 B9TLs already.

did you demand him to cancel your fare for the ez-link card and request the ticket from him?today i saw one small kid, looks like p3 only and he paid cash. then he stand and stare at the validator for sometime but no ticket issued. then he look at bc then i think he said he didn't bring his ezlink card or smth and bc talk talk talk talk to him -.- this type of bc ahh, really waste their time only. press one button so difficult? small kid bluff what fare lol. sbst machiam trying to earn money with that rule from those small kids that pay 55c and bc say cannot, must pay adult fare -.-

i didnt, since i dun wanna make a scene in there. When that incident occured, all the pax seated were already looking at me thinking that i didnt pay the correct fare & somemore his face is already like 100% chop chop hot-tempered one. Actually my destination was actually to tampines from CCK, but when this thing occured, i better alight faster (at Bukit Panjang) b4 anything happens.

New bus for 178Why would SBST buy the Cito when it's been discontinued? None of the operators using it liked the awkward drivetrain (electric motor driven by diesel engine). Odd choice, IMO. Might as well by B6LE or MAN 12.180 or Enviro 200. Or just use minibuses like the old 811D's.

Give 980 some perm bendies. Volgren Bendies are preferred.
Give 981 and 178 some TLC
Give 858 the Citaro (AKA WLDEP). Give travellers the impression that SMRT is better than SBST.
Give WLDEP more WABs.
Give 39 some chiongster buses, or simply put: Less Euro 4 KUBs
