I was jogging behind the King Long HQ at Bedok when I saw *gasp* a King Long citybus. Does it mean that King Long following Yutong's lead and providing a demo for SG? O.o
Apart from SMB 135, haven't seen any MIC citybuses. Maybe this ones giving to SBS?
There was news quite sometime back that SMRTB and Brickston Transport Co. are bringing in King Long CNGs in for trial sometime back. According to what I have seen, Brickston Transport Co. have already brought in quite a number of units alrd ... ...
Seems very SMB136C
I already saw one china bus with red EDS at PIE recently. The new bus was in blue colour livery, which I supposed its under private company or excursion bus.
looks quite nice...wonder how will it be like if this is really the hybrid bus that will be on the roads soon
This one using Cummins engine?Hybrid np point leh for Diesel.Diesel itself already save money futhermore with Euro IV & V.WTH breakdown prone.Hybrid is good for private use not public use which run almost entire day.Cost of repair also double.BTW the bus in white prepare for new red sticker ardy
I'm not sure about EDS... from what i saw, the bus is using the SBS type route info cards lei... Cuz the lightbox was installed liao. Too bad cannot get inside the KL HQ to take a look... ):

Wa. No faith in EDS. use desto.
I must admit, that compared to some Japanese coaches we have in Singapore, certain King Long coaches prove to be far superior. The KL's have very very very cushy air suspension, Denso a/c units, and Italian FAINSA seating.
they're using cummins licensed engines, manufactured in china in accordance with the dongfeng-cummins engine contract.
there's another brand recently came to Singapore.
But I think SBS needs to decide whether can they be in - housed assembled and another issue Volvo & Scania could produce double deck chassis

Most of the King Longs here have spring leaf suspension.
The only reason why they feel good is because operators in Singapore has been buying cheap Japanese models all these years.

Your statement is contary to the fact. Hybrid technology has been in use around the world by public transit operators, and are very seldom used by private (charter) operators.
