  Impounded doesn't mean it is scrapped.

  It might stay at Woodlands Checkpoint till end of its lifespan, if luckier, it might be returned to SBST soon after the investigations.

  How sure are you it is extended to another year? The maximum lifespan for buses here is 19 years.

  wrong. maximum lifespan for buses is 20 years. official lifespan for SBST/SMRT buses are 17 years.. the ex-SBS468 is still running around as the library bus even though it is 19 years old.

  20 years lifespan is for most buses, which does not include public buses. Public buses officially have 17.
