Hi all,
I just developed an iPhone app, called "bus@sg", for finding next bus arrival time in Singapore. This is easier than using the SBS or SMRT websites on your cell phone.
The app shows you nearby bus stops, the real-time bus arrival information for all routes that go by a certain bus stop, all bus stops along a route, etc. It includes all the routes for SMRT and SBS buses. You can also add your frequently used bus stops to your favorites list.
I hope this app will be useful to you all! If you want to try out this app, here are 10 promotional codes: (they can be redeemed only once, so whoever uses first will get it).
(To redeem, go to iTunes store, and click "Redeem" link on top right corner)
You can download the app from iTunes store: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/bus-sg/id340744554?mt=8
For more information about the app, check out my website: http://happenapps.com/bussg/

Cool! wasted i dun hav an iphone...:(
i cant download it as it says its only for US itune store.
Sorry guys. I just checked, indeed Apple said that the promotional code are only for US stores, probably because my developer account was registered in US. However, I suspect that you may change your iTunes store to US store, then redeem it. You can change the country of your iTunes store by clicking the national flag at the bottom right corner on the iTunes store main page. Let me know if works or not.

i did as u said, still doesnt work. when i go to the itunes store and sign in, it still say my purchases or downloads are only valid for singapore store
I just did some search on Google about this. It seems that Apple only allows you to redeem if you have a US iTunes store account. That's a bummer. The app does show up in Singapore store, but the promotion codes can only be redeemed if you have a US iTunes store account. Sorry about that.
so how?, since u invented the app, can u do something to help us download?

I also don't have iphone , I don't know it's real....
btw there is one app called TransGuide which is very similar to TS app. Am using it now.
to open a US itunes account, open itunes, change the store to US. click on any one app, and when the windows pop-up, click "create account". put in any valid US address will do.
theres many of such guides in forums around, such as the iphone forums on HWZ
