  Hmm, I thought Mercedes (and MAN) used the letter G to mean bendy in their nomencleture. The UA designation sounds so Scania-ish.

  BTW, did you read about the latest news in PerthNow regarding new buses for the city? I feel they are bringing more Mercs yet again. Think they should consider B9Ls for a change.

  perhaps they have bought Mercedes-Benz buses for a very long time & thus they have the confidence in that make so they decided to get more..

  Yes, I am actually campaigning for a Custom Coaches order.

  Mercs are a touchy subject in Perth at the moment, especially with 1854 going up in smoke and all.

  The requirement for the contract is the supply at least 65 buses a year, at least 10 of which will be diesel articulated buses and the rest split between diesel and CNG rigid buses of two lengths - 11m and 12.5m approx.

  Got a feeling the OM906 engine is only Euro IV.The EEV & Euro V is available only for OM457 engine which is 12 litres

  The Connecto (O 345) and Connecto G (O 345 G) are budget versions of the Citaro.  The engines are the same with OM 906 hLA and OM 926 LA options.

  Any Euro 4-certified Mercedes-Benz SCR engine is Euro 5-compliant.  All that needs adjusting is AdBlue injection quantity.

  187 and 961 would get it, 980 will have it from AMK, not to say WL no chance, but so far AM has been the one giving 980 cameo (OC), so from WL side you have to wait

  SMRT Citaro would be serving 855(if I am not wrong) with a new advertisement. It was on the news just now. The wheel chair thing also got a foldable seat. Confirm to AMDEP.

  WILL BE OUT ON SERVICE ON NEXT TUESDAY.
