this route will take you more then 1 and a half hours.
961 to woodlands then 900A, way much faster.

NEL to dhoby ghaut from outram park is about 10 mins. dhoby ghaut to woodlands by NSL is 32 mins. plus a 900A journey, explain how it adds up to more than 1.5 hrs?
in contrast 961 will probably take about 1hr 15 mins at least to get to woodlands from SGH as it is. so work your sums again and let me know.

No lah. from WRI to Chinatown takes about 1.5 hrs.
If you are taking in the AM peak, I suggest you to go Woodlands using the MRT via Jurong East because you will be boarding trains from JE (towards Woodlands) at about 2-3 mins frequency, much better than Northbound trains which can be as long as 3 to 5 mins at times.
i think our bus fans here too hardcore already.
die die must give all-bus suggestion.

You can't really put it this way. Most of the time direct buses are easier for a person going from point to point with transfers, especially when the transfer is done at the bus stop or interchange itself. Of course most of the time you have to sacrifice the time.

ask yourself that question first before asking others.

answer to that question : yes, i can and i have been doing so. unfortunate for you if you don't happen to see it that way.

north-bound NSL from town in AM peak confirm got seats one.. hahaha.
(45 - 50 min) 190 >>>
(20 - 25 min) 187 or 963 or 966 (Cross the bridge at Bukit Panjang Road after BKE) >>>
(10 - 15 min) 161 or 168 (Woodlands Interchange)
Total: 75 - 90 min

they are all over the forum if you actually notice properly. don't think i need to pull up links and what-have-you, i can't spare that kind of time.
or has your perceptual oversensitivity impaired your better judgement and blurred your observation? if that's the case, then there's nothing i can do.

wow.
if you want to bring a point across you should just prove it. let me guess, its so hard to find one post you answered nicely? is that why you decided not to and just decided to use your "cheeminology" speech here?
if some people cannot reflect their own actions theres nothing I can do as well.
ok this thread has served its purpose...
