If I'm not wrong, if you apply for new route, there will be people from the respective route group to teach you the new route. After that, you will fetch ppl for 1 trip.

This bus is not in 198's fleet. It's in 51's fleet. Can you please don't be so bo liao!!!!
The only problem being a BC is, what if other commuters fight with us, what should we do? Wait for SOS to rescue? If wait for back up, i have to close the door, what if other commuters want to alight first how?

I intend to be a BC after i completed my NS. If i were to apply for this job, where do i go to? The interview difficult to pass? Will life be difficult been BC? Do we need to pay for the traning fee or the uniform?
Warm regards.
Either slbp or amdep. I used to go to Braddel HQ for interview, but that was a long time.
I did not pay for my training fee during my time.
The interview is easy.
It depends on whether the one thousand dollars plus salary is sufficient for you.

I was not given a choice at that time. I actually was "kicked" from arbp to bbdep and jrbp (now known as slbp).
In the past, they just assigned a "lau cheow" driver to accompany to do a return trip, and there, you are now trained and you are on your own.

You may have misunderstood my statement, my apologies.
I mean one only need to have a Class 3 to apply. SBS will conduct in-house training before allowing a driver to drive.
I did go through familiarisation course to learn to drive the bus. With the vocation license, I only drive SBS bus so I did not take class 4. So now I cannot drive a bus for a living.
Maybe I will take up a class 4 license, just to add to my driving license.

Are you still driving for SBST?
Which service? Kind of rare to meet up bus drivers in the internet.

Quite a number of services. You must have stayed in SBS for a long time. I had spent my uni holidays driving for SBS for 3 years. Now I am running my own business.
I guess you have probably left SBS not very long ago, right?
I remember the other depot which was serving 105 during that time was amdep.
I was with SBS in the mid 90s, I usually drive for services 174/ 190. But had also done 367/ 365/ 74/ 14/ 105/ 66.
No chance to drive SBS Merc bendy. Also never driven a Dennis Dart although I saw them everyday.
