  This topic is for anyone who wants to talk about or post pictures on ex-SBS/CSS/TIBS/SMRT buses that had been deregistered or converted and sold to other companies or countries EG:Volvo B10M MK2s, Scania N113CRB, Magic bus, drug busters bus, NLB Molly bus, Volvo B10MA in NZ...

  i think a few of our old Volvo Mk 2, MB O305 buses are believed to be in Indonesia, probably Bintan/Batam area.

  And also some old SBS double deckers appearing in Jarkata and HK.

  I think the global demand for old used buses are diminishing, probably due to increasing shipping costs and cost of scrap metal.

  I've not heard of any double-deckers in Batam. 

  As far as I know, the Atlanteans in Jakarta operated by PPD were all first hand. The first few Metsec-bodied examples were built in Singapore and shipped to Jakarta. All retired from service.

  Only one B10M MK2 which is SBS1836A was sold to NZ(Rego now is DNP197). All others were scrapped

  sbs3894t on sv261  also remember got 1 female driver constanly drive that bus,then suddenly, she went to drive sbs3799k.

  7253 was burnt by fire along Jln Ahmad Ibrahim while servicing svc 182. Was on the news that time. Even the old SBS bus stop pole was exposed.

  7227 can go to TJC and take a look. Already vandalised.

  As for the ones sold to UK, can look for other topics to the linkies to the pics. I remember both were in. One of the pictures in First Manchester was available in off-service's blog.
