SMRT Buses with Refurbishment (Part I)

Opened this topic specially for SMRT Buses with new Refurbishment.
(Version 1) Buses with the new refurbishment includes:
- New set of wheels with BLACK rims
- OC500LE / O405G Hispano Habit-like A/C ducts
- New blue/orange seats (Orange for priority seats)
- 'Priority Seat' stickers
- Light-blueish walls
- Milky-white A/C walls
- New retrofitted lights.(Version 2) Buses with the new refurbishment includes:
- New set of wheels with BLACK rims
- OC500LE / O405G Hispano Habit-like A/C ducts
- New blue/red seats (red for priority seats - Same as OC)
- 'Priority Seat' stickers
- Light-blueish walls & A/C (Same as OC)
- New retrofitted lights---------------------------------------------------

I think every bus will take a long time to refurbish leh4 mths for each of them liao leh. Wait another 4 mths and see lor.

I think you can leave AMDEP out. This round of refurbishing, if according to the previous tender, is strictly for Scania and DAF buses only.

Are the ELBOs included in this refurbishment? Would be interesting if those laid-up buses get a new lease of life.

No lah. ELBOs are going soon. It will be a waste of money to refurbish them, except that only TIB848D did manage to get refurbished 2 yrs ago due to complains that the bus interior is too dirty and dusty. -

Sorry, my mistake, its Woodlands Ave 5. 707C is spotted parking at the middle of the U-turn of that road with blinkers on. -

Lol. KJDEP ppl refurbished the seats and flooring only, but are ELBOs seats, quite nice on TIB838H actully. That time on 184, forgot to take interior pic. The reflooring is actually whole bus, and whole bus smells. -

TIB707C is fitted with new MOBITEC EDS after refurbishment too. Spotted it OFF SERVICE leaving BP Int @ 10.30 plus. The white rims are colgate white, as if newly bought..
-------------------------------My fren and i took a peek inside the interior of the bus while on TIB710S, and the refurbisment is really the same, esp the wheels and the seats. I didnt spot any 'ice crystals' at the windows of the bus, so i just hope that the A/C is not boorish than TIB562C.

I saw a DAF with white rims like OCs today coming out from Shenton way ter, but from my 36th floor office so details aint sure. It's most likely 970, seems to have orange eds. I reckon its 707C ba, esp its long term mia previously to be another transformer.
