SBS8031J has been returned to MAN?

  Confirm liao. Man bus has been taken out of service & now parking @ Bedok North depot . spotted it yesterday while following my friend bus to depot for refilling.

  OMG. I cant believe this is happening. I would REALLY want to take this bus. :( But now it is gone. Farewell SBS8031J.. :(((

  sayonara SBS8031J,

  Actually i taken this bus before, sadly i only took that bus for one stop. Downtown East to Pasir Ris interchange.

  It happened like that, got a lot of pasir ris int bound buses passed, then i saw a bus rather familliar, then i ask my aunt to wait for a bus to come. Then 8031J just appeared infront of my eyes.

  now left only 8030L and 8033D as the surviving demonstrators of this generation's single-decker fleet renewal programme.

  anyway i took the bus a month before its demise. some of the rubber linings were already falling.

  if i'm not mistaken, the official last day of ownership is 8th October but it is already not in service since 14th August 2009 after a morning S shift run.

  Just like the SBS30P (Renault PR100.2) in the past.

  So would that rego(8031J) be available to be used again? Like for example the Mercz OC500LE demo register as 8031J? Or is that rego not allowed to be used again?

  Merc demo if ever registered won't register as 8031J. You can't plan for two different buses to use the same rego if they were assigned at around the same time.....

  Hmm. Sad =(( My only 8031J trip is during the crossover to SV354 frm Sv6 in PM peak last year.

  Miss u 8031J!

  However, is there really zero chance tt SBST will buy that bus isit?

  Lol. Might as well say this special rego, SBS8031J is for demo buses only lor.
