Btw, SBS858T is not BNDEP SP. It's BNDEP 359.

some mk3s like 629m and 746h have this strong paint smell in the bus...is it due to the refurbishment? or they are not refurbished yet...

Some MK IIIs that are refurbished are also awaiting 1 year extension.
SBS619S also. SBS620L rego onwards never extend yet.

Yes. From my observation, it is either due to the entrance/exit door being painted to black or the new coat of paint at the rear of the bus as well as the emergency exit

most of them are spares in their respective depot... great irony.. and its probably going to be like that for the next year.. unless depot transfer (e.g. 139 145 155 still dont want k230 so they take bndep's SP mk3s and new k230s go bndep instead)
There's also a handful that are JB-registered..
from my opinion, SBS715Y looks refurbished. interior floorboards look new, and has a fresh coat of paint, however, the rims were not painted.

dun think AM/BR would want to take in MK 3? Maybe MK 4 but then still have to create side desto for 139/145/155?
now bunches of Sv170 MK III got repainted exterior... sbs615/616/617/622/646/683 etc.... but then after several days, the exterior got dirty alrd...

Services 145 and 155 ever had perm Volvo MK3 fleets for a short period of time somewhere in 1998-1999. Same for feeder 410 when converted PAC in 1999, Volvo MK3s were deployed for a start.
Hopefully some Volvo MK4s transfer to AMDEP/BRBP/SLBP so as to balance up the WAB fleet ratio within all the SBST depots.
yup i recall they were SBS842 SBS851 SBS855 to name some...
i was wonder if SBS599 cd perm 197... lol

SBS645R also.Saw it at Jurong East Int on 506 on thursday with it's whole exterior and rims super duper shiny. The whole body was gleaming brightly in the sun.
SBS679T (Former BNDEP 32) laid up till end of lifespan.

amdep and bram all along had Mk IIIs, only after the Scanias and Mercs finished their refurb around 2000 did the Mk IIIs move out.

Notice that this regos are mainly under HGDEP and BNDEP. Those under BBDEP within this range had been extended 1 more year.
