SBS 635 U [BN 222]
Refurbished. With shiny rims & paint.
seriously it seemed a pity that mk3 is to be gone, they are in a state that can run for 4 more years, unlike the UDs that are still running in SMRT fleet

When you see SBS858T has bright (shiny) interiors and new floorings of the bus, which means refurbished and prepare for lifespan extension.
If you remember, that is it =)

Dunno about that....as much as I like the MKIIIs, when its time to go, its time to go.

MK3s looks older than O405s
I see some of the BB MK3 seats are not changed but just do the re-flooring. The reflooring at the entrance look exactly as the PSV on svc 78.

Interiors not repainted?
Took SBS636S last Thu. Though interiors not shiny, flooring looked more cleaner, not very dirty. Is it so called refurbishment?
SBS0736L (BNDEP 3)

Its not only the MK3s which are in a state that can run for another 4 more years. Many other models such as the Merc 0405s,MK2s,MK4s,VO2X,LO3X and VO3X are/were also in a way better conditon than the MK3s and can obviously run for more than another 4 years.

dun 4get the CRBs....
SBS641B and SBS694Z are fitted with new red seats/
today spotted SBS587A on Sv170. Bus is freshly repainted (even front part of bus is repainted) with super shiny silver rims. Suddenly this MK III look like a brand new bus on the road. think 100% MK III lifespan will be extended. If you look at the state of the exterior of those Sv160/170 MK III, they are in quite bad conditions. Buses look so dirty outside..

no need to update anymore
all mk3's below rego of 800 are fully refurbished
SBS585E super shiny rims.
Wonder if the rest are like that XD
SBS664K shiny rims.......
no repainted
From my observations, more and more MK3s have their rims repainted, preparing for lifespan extension?
I hope so
