Quite a number of NIE students on forums. Wan go NIE should go homework more and practice teaching :p
Anyway, i been taking the shuttle almost everyday to save money these days and mornings at pioneer really cmi. Lucky bus frequency supposed to be ~5min

yeah a lot of ppl take the shuttle. good rah.
tong tar shud have more buses and demand more $ from NTU.

But then hor, after 0930 bus freq is 15 mins riao -
some of my observations
179A vs tong tar svc.
- bus fan view - Lo3x Vo3x vs creaky isuzu / hino. or maybe dimo lanka merc. u choose
- NTU student view -look mate I paid for that Tong Tar service in my school bill and i will jolly well use it and save that 20 cents (rebate 50 cents from MRT) ride on svc 179.
svc 199
madness 4-5 mins during 4pm timing. and hardly anyone on board towards NTU. been spotting them EEVs on 199. so i din go into NTU on most trips.
instead i "looped" at Blk 275x along Jln bahar. and in the oppriste direction, bsues are just 60 percent full. i spot mostly 15 to 20 standees on board .
sculli sch holiday for NTU i also dunno. went EEV spotting last wk.
Boon lay int
since Pioneer MRT is now the preferred place, is boon lay still snaking queues?

Svc 241??
Yes u cna take svc 241 from pioneer to somewhere along Jurong West St 91 and then walk by this pr sch and head for an overhead bridge across the highway. But again,
NTU student :
i have to walk this bridge then trasnfer to itnernal shuttle svc. so jialat. then 241 also crowded mah.
hecne i wd choose 179 or Pioneer shuttle over 241. and besides 179 brings me direct to my lectures and tutorials.

Take 241 can exercise ma.. At least in the morning when it is heading to JW st 91, the bus is not crowded. -

Btw, I think pls dun blame on the bus services but is really the location and the sch issue. I dunno why most of the lecture must start at the same time. Location wise, we cant change that because NTU is there for so long liao. Can read up the history if some of them are interested.

If you tell me Sv 179 then i might agree with you, but not for Sv 179A. There are also other worth mentioning services like Express 502, Express 518, Sv 174, Sv 36, Sv 143, Sv 95, Sv 62 etc.

Even if it's making losses, it's social responsibility to operate e route. But I myself feel it's making money, it's more likely e students buy TCP than HCP
