Wa kaoz, 179A now demand is super low liao, ratio 2 - 3 Sv 179 for 1 Sv 179A trips. Sv 179's demand came from Pioneer MRT (Even e VO2x kena overloaded )
Opp side of Pioneer MRT lots of ppl waiting for Tong Tar buses (more than 100 ppl), while opp side's crowd keep on being cleared by ultra frequent 179'a LO3x
I think 179A should start from Pioneer MRT bus-stop

I think SBS might cut down on Sv 179A's activity, but honestly I dun find it any better to crowd the normal size Pioneer MRT bus stop

The Pioneer MRT shuttle is relatively unfrequent, and imo there's no need to waste so much time queuing and only sometimes saving 20 cents

Honestly if it was intended to let NTU ppl to mainly board from Pioneer, e bus stops has to be bigger liao
imagine the flood of buses crowding e road resulting in jam, in no time ppl living around this area would start to complain
I wonder wat happened to tat crowd cos clearly 1 bus can't clear them all
I think they were commenting abt how frequent Sv 179 is from their pointing and sort

they noob mah
only noe FOC
if i study NTU and i take 179 daily, song bo!
ytd there are 3 mercs cameo 179A, which means SBST know that demand for 179A has reduced.

it's normal, last yr during new acad yr week had MB's
NTU Shuttle bus freq after 0930 ish 15 mins
Actually I find SBS could improve the situation in 2 ways for AM peak load
1) Concentrate and consolidate on 179A for those undergrads boarding at Boon Lay in e morning
2) 179 could end up w/ more downroute from Pioneer MRT station (This one being buses dispatched from BNL)

more likely to be freshies, thinking 179 freq more of normal type
now 199 also joins the 2 - 5 mins freq pact
took a MB on 179 ytd

179A to call Pioneer is alrdy shot down by NTUSU

the reasons are fine.
but at least they really should consider 179A to stop at pioneer for PM peak. all the 179A running empty during PM peak is just.... zzz.
yes wet weather may be a problem. but when it's not raining, there's really a lot of potential untapped.
even if u take 179 during off peak hours, at pioneer station, some BCs will stop beside the escalator, on the road. for the convenience of everyone. dont go inside bus stop one.

U wan be teacher or u wan be NTU student?
Today I think 179 kee siao, green man still at Int and loading was super high from BNL
At Pioneer it ended up a snowball crowd aft 1000. I also saw a VO2x w/ Sv 179 (Boon Lay 179 NTU) desto approaching BNL apparently from SLBP at 1015+

This is very off topic. Please kindly use the PM function if you are interested about what he is going to do there for two years. Ask in a polite manner, don't ask for the sake of increasing post counts (Relax, I don't assume that you are trying to do so, but this is too common.)
Ask some of the students to take 241 and walk up.. lol.
