Service 172: Plied between Lim Chu Kang terminal and Prince Edward Rd (Shenton Way) terminal. Later shortened to loop at Jln Anak Bt.
Amended to start from Boon Lay interchange to loop at Jln Anak Bt in 1993, with the re-introduction of service 175, which took over 172's Lim Chu Kang Rd sector.
Amended to ply Sungei Tengah Rd, Brickland Rd and Choa Chu Kang Ave 3, when parts of Choa Chu Kang Rd was closed in stages.
Handed to tibs in Dec 1999 and on the same day, shortened to Choa Chu Kang interchange. -
