take bus 16 is ur best choice if u're coming down from orchard since it stops right outside blk 115 hawker. when going back to orchard area, u can consider taking bus 14 from jln bt merah.
It depends on you. Taking bus 16 from Dhoby Ghaut to Blk 115 Hawker Centre is to me a better choice since u don't need to cross the main road upon reaching the destination while for 14, u need to cross the main road Jln Bt Merah. -

I will be going to Marina Centre this Saturday to catch the SPop Hurray on the move bus.
My trip will involve a ride on MRT, somewhere to Lavender, Bugis or City Hall. Thereafter, I need the fastest bus to Marina Centre. Time needed to reach there would be around 1350 hrs to 1355 hrs.
Does anyone know what bus I should take after I alight at any of the abovementioned MRT stations? How long would the trip (either single or combined) take? -
Lavender
Marina Centre : 107X (Temasek Blvd) or 133
Bugis Marina Centre : 133 or 960
City Hall Marina Centre : 36, 133, 162X (Temasek Blvd), 700A or 960 from Raffles Hotel -
Why dont you just take 16/196/197 transfer 36 and alight at Temasek Ave?

I will recommend that u alight at Bugis MRT and walk to the bus stop just outside Bugis Junction and take 133 or 960 as Tamago has mentioned in his earlier post cos the walking distance is the shortest. i took bus 16 and missed the last 2nd stop becoz it was too dark to see anything
and we got into the interchange
den we see this blk119 which is a carpark
so i thought 115 will be nearby
and after asking some super unfriendly ppl whom duNno anithing at all
den we found another blk 119 far far away...
why have two same blk...
why make life difficult for us siah ! -
that's why i also mentioned the presence of two blk 115's near each other.
next time take backwards, it's just one bus stop out of bt merah int.

ok I found it... Bus 10 direct bus -

Or alternatively, u can take 30 to Mountbatten Rd B08 bus stop which is one stop after Fort Rd. Cross the road to B09 bus stop and take 196. if not, can take 189/185 to clementi Mrt bus stop and take 184 to Upper Bukit Timah and change to Sv 171 to Khaitb camp.
actually, from Clementi camp to Upper Bukit Timah, the direct distance is very short, can travel via Ave 6 and then PIE and then Upper Bukit Timah. But if take bus, have to take one round to Clementi and then back to Bukit Timah. -
