  Serangoon Central doesn't have 55, 55 goes to Serangoon North.

  From Serangoon Central to East Coast Pk, u can take 43 to Marine Parade Rd B07 bus stop. Walk to ECP via an underpass at Blk 20 Marine Terr.
  
  From Serangoon North (AMK Ave 3 side) to East Coast Pk, u can take 55 or 76 to Marine Parade B07 bus stop. Walk to ECP via underpass at Blk 20 Marine Terr
  
  Basically, 43, 55, 76 goes to Marine Parade from Serangoon North with 43 passing by Serangoon Central.

  Off peak:

  171 from Yishun
  171, 176, 963, 970 from Bukit Panjang
  176, 178 from Bukit Batok.

  My 'temporary' workplace is SPHMediaworks Office at Toa Payoh. I'll be attending a journalism course by Berita Harian on 18/11/07 till 21/11/07 Which bus past by SPHMediaworks? I know 1 was 163, rite?

  Take 965 from WDL to Sengkang INT.
  Switch to 163, alight at the bus stop opposite BLK 1004.
  
  EDIT: Actually a simpler way would be to take the MRT down to TPY, then switch to 88, and alight at the bus stop next to BLK 1004.

  take train to Braddell, alight, use Exit A or C and walk to SPH (past the canal).

  If bus, and don't need security pass, take 969 then transfer to 980/167 at Chong Pang City and then transfer to 163 along Upp Thomson Rd (bet Sin Ming and Marymt Ln) then alight at Braddell Rd (Guangyang Secondary School/Opp Blk 99, then cross overhead bridge, then walk to the eastern gate along Braddell Rd, the western gate is closed.
  
  If you need a security pass, take train to Braddell MRT and follow tammy's direction, cos main gate is at Toa Payoh North, although you may be able to walk in to the other gate to get your security pass.

  From Woodlands: Take 169 to the stop after the Former Admiralty Rd West Terminal. It is after the junction of Canberra Rd
  
  From Jurong: Take a train to Woodlands and follow the above instruction. If by bus, take 160 to Choa Chu Kang Rd (Phoenix LRT Stn) change 187 to Woodlands.

  132 or 165 at Thomson Plaza to Hougang MRT.
  
  72 from YCK MRT to Hougang MRT.
  74 along Marymount Rd to Hougang MRT.

  From YCK MRT, you can take 72 to Hougang MRT.
  
  From Bishan St 22, you can:
  1. Take 13 to Ang Mo Kio Ave 6 and transfer to 74, or
  2. Take 162 to Ang Mo Kio Hub, cross the road and transfer to 74, 132 or 165.

  OK now my turn... how do I get to the following places from my hometown in Yishun? Prefably the fastest way... (Don't include a full MRT trip because I want to sit down @@):

BTW when I had to visit my friend at Upper Changi Road NTH last time I kept switching buses because I didn't know which was the fastest... end up my journey took 2 hours. Any idea of the fastest way from Bugis MRT station to Upper Changi Road NTH? My friend lives in some condo which I forgot the name but it is served by Services 2 and 5 I think.

  It could be Edelweiss Park.
  
  If you want even faster, take train to Tanah Merah and take bus 2 from there.

  Well I forgot what name is it but it is a couple of stops after The Japanese School I think.
  
  EDIT: I just checked the Street Directory, it's Ballota Park Condo, right beside Edelweiss Park.
  
  I still remember switching between 2 and 7 for quite some time before I decide to take 2 all the way.
