Sengkang to East Coast Park Carpark F2? Which bus to take?

Just asking for opinion:
From Yishun to Parkway Parkway on weekdays, which is faster (or any other faster routes?)
1. 853 transfer 135/43 at AMK/Serangoon
2. 857 transfer 966 at Jln Toa Payoh
Thanks,

Thanks,
In my opinion, u can also try 854 to Eunos MRT station and transfer to 15 or 966 to Parkway Parade whichever (853, 854, 857) bus comes first.
Another option: Take train from Yishun to Paya Lebar. Take 43, 76, 135 to Parkway Parade.
I guess number 2 will be a fast route if there are no jams in CTE.

I think the first option should be alright , but not the 2nd one of coz , this is due to bad frequency of Sv 966.

Thanks,
Take 853 to Ang Mo Kio Ave 3 (Blk 700B) After KFC then take 76 also can...
Thanks guys!
Decided to go with 857 and 966, tried taking 853 + 135 once... the traffic lights simply puts me off compared to the expressway taken by 857 and 966.
Hmm, train is interesting too... will consider that too
Anyone think that is it faster to take bus or MRT to Yio Chu Kang from Jurong West St 91? If it is bus, which services to take?

Can be either one.
MRT faster:
Yio Chu Kang Jurong East (45 mins)
Jurong East Boon Lay (10 mins)
Transfer to 242 (10 mins Journey)
Total: Approximated 1hrs 5 minutes
Bus:
Walk to the bus stop outside Yio Chu Kang MRT board 852 alight at Bukit Batok Ctrl (Before the Interchange) then transfer to service 174 to Boon Lay Ave Transfer to 99.
852: Yio Chu Kang MRT Stn Bukit Batok Ctrl (Approximated 1 hrs 10 mins)
174: Bukit Batok Ctrl Boon Lay Ave (Blk 185) (Approximated 20 mins)
99: Boon Lay Ave (Blk 185) Jurong West Street 91 (Approximated 15 mins)

I think MRT is faster.
If by MRT, take MRT to Jurong East from YCK via Woodlands, transfer at Jurong East to Boon Lay and take 242.
If by bus, you can take 852 to Bt Timah Rd and transfer to 174 or 157 to Boon Lay. However, 174 is faster than 157 since it uses Jurong Rd instead of Jurong East Ave 1. Then, transfer to 99 at Boon Lay Ave or 242 at Boon Lay int.

Thanks guys for ur information, today I took the train from BNL to Yio Chu Kang by transferring at the JE side but when it go to Yew Tee that side the train seems to travel very slow. Would it be faster to transfer at Raffles place instead it ply pass the tunnel? Sorry for being off-topic.

For me, I feel that it is ok on the train ride via Yew Tee/Woodlands. But I think depends.. During PEak hours, trains are moving at a much more faster speed due to another train trailing behind... But at what time did you board the train?
Morning Peak: Fast
Afternoon (12 - 4pm): A bit slow but quite fast
Evening Peak: Fast

Maybe it is due to the trains frequency that's why the trains are a bit slow.... Just bear with it...

Trains turn around at Yew Tee, as well as station stall times.

this onli happens in the evening peak, morning peak not affected by this
Have a question here..
assume start point is pheonix LRT travelling to east part ( Bedok or Tamp )
Direct 67 is faster or others? ( no MRT please )
LRT to Pending transfer to 966 than 23 ?
or 187 to WDL than 168 all the way?
gotta be the S168 way.
my camp is at CDA and if i'm bored of 172(boon lay) > train to tampines, i'll go by 172(cck) > train to WDL > 168 to tamp where i stay. if transfer times are swee, it would probably be about the same time taken. :)
67 takes about 2hrs at 3pm frm CCK Int.
168 take abt 35mins to tamp frm WDL.
966 > 23. can try if not during peak hours. may experience slow speeds on PIE. but i figure it'd be too long.
so if you die2 dont want MRT, i guess it's 187 > 168 the best choice. ultimately, where is your destination?

In my opinion, I feel that 966 then 23 is the faster way.
But it depends on traffic conditions at that point in time.
Phoenix LRT -> Tampines
190 to Bukit Panjang/LRT to Pending, then 966 to Jln Kolam Ayer and 23 to Tampines.
Phoenix LRT -> Bedok
190 to Bukit Panjang/LRT to Pending, then 966 to Jln Kolam Ayer and 23 to Bedok Nth Rd. Cross the road and take 60 or 87.
