So will their terminating/looping point be at T2 or T3?Originally posted by tanjun:Saw a poster at Yishun Ave 2 bus stop. Serivce 858 will call an additional bus stop at Changi Airport Terminal 3 with effect from 11th November 2007.
I guess 24, 27, 34, 36, 53 will do the same too.
I am not sure about 24, 27, 34, 36 and 53. For 858, the poster put it this way,Originally posted by choww:So will their terminating/looping point be at T2 or T3?

The rest (Services 24, 27, 34 & 53) don't really stop there as well. BC reaches T2, goes to tap his card and for a toilet break than drives off (if im not wrong). For Service 36, the bus does terminate at T2?Originally posted by tanjun:I am not sure about 24, 27, 34, 36 and 53. For 858, the poster put it this way,
From Woodlands/Yishun -> T3 -> T1 -> T2 -> Woodlands/Yishun.
858 is a loop service while the rest aren't according to Transitlink Bus Guide.
So, for the rest, I am not very sure.
So its T3 to T1 then T2. Then will have 3 security checksOriginally posted by SBS 9631X:The rest (Services 24, 27, 34 & 53) don't really stop there as well. BC reaches T2, goes to tap his card and for a toilet break than drives off (if im not wrong). For Service 36, the bus does terminate at T2?
T2 should be the looping point; last stop going back to PIE if you look at the location of the airport terminals. T3 is in front of T1, while T1 connects to T2. T2 is opposite of T3.
All SBST timesheets do not indicate a break at T2. However, the run time in that area has enough time for a short toilet break.Originally posted by choww:So its T3 to T1 then T2. Then will have 3 security checks
Anyone know whether there is any break on the timesheet at T2?

SBS Transit: SBS Transit Wins Service Superstar Award For The Third Year Running
SBS Transit's Senior Bus Captain Hoy Man Lin has made history by becoming the third SBS Transit Bus Captain to win the EXSA SuperStar Award in so many years.
The hat trick means that SBS Transit is the only land transport company to have won the prestigious award in three consecutive years.
Senior BC Hoy, who has been with the company for 14 years, was honoured by SPRING Singapore and 10 leading industry bodies - Association of Banks in Singapore, Association of Singapore Attractions, Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore, Land Transport Authority, National Association of Travel Agents Singapore, Singapore Health Services, Singapore Hotel Association, Singapore Public Services, Singapore Retailers Association and The Restaurant Association of Singapore for service excellence. He outclassed the competition to win the SuperStar award for the transport sector.
He joins SBS Transit Senior Bus Captain Ong Sze Err and Route Master Chua Aik Ngwen in the Hall of Fame.
Senior BC Hoy, who operates Service 17, was surprised to find out that he had won the award. He said: "I never expected to win the SuperStar award. Everything I do, I do for my customers. I do not go looking to get rewarded. It is certainly a very pleasant surprise."
The 54-year-old, who has received over 129 commendations from happy customers, lives by the motto that no gesture is too small.
Once, a female tourist flagged down his bus along Bras Basah Road. Senior BC Hoy noticed that her left leg was in a cast. Knowing how difficult it would be for her to manoevuer herself onto the bus, he decided to get down and help her himself. He took her backpack and made sure she was seated before moving off - all the while apologising to the other passengers on board. When she reached her destination - the airport - he helped her down and even went to get a trolley for her.
Then there was the time that Senior BC Hoy realised that an elderly couple had overpaid by 40 cents. He remembered their faces and when they boarded his bus the next day, made sure that they paid 40 cents less as compensation for overpaying the day before.
SBS Transit Chief Operating Officer, Mr Gan Juay Kiat, said: "Senior BC Hoy is a shining example of what it takes to be an exemplary service provider. We are very proud of him and we are delighted to have been awarded this prestigious award not once, but three times in a row.
"It is an affirmation of the hard work and the dedication of our people. I have no doubt that they will continue to strive towards even greater service excellence."
I know him as well, he is a very nice guy to chat with.Originally posted by carbikebus:My ex-SBST friend from Pasir Ris Route Group. He always drive other services like 2,6,12,15,21,36,58.
