Roads will close on 3 February 2006, 6.30pm to 12.30am (preview) and 4 February, 6.00pm to 2.00am (actual event).
Public going into Orchard Road to catch the Parade are advised to take public transport as this is the quickest and easiest method on the Parade day.

In conjunction with Thaipusam Festival 2006, services 67, 857 and NR 6 will skip two bus stops along Serangoon Rd outside Broadway Hotel and Farrer Park MRT Station from 1800hrs on 10 February 2006 to 0200hrs on 12 February 2006. In addition, service 857 and NR 6 will skip the bus stop opposite NTUC Income Prinsep House along Prinsep Street during the said period.

In conjunction with Singapore River HongbaoÂ’s celebration, Connaught Drive would be closed to all vehicular traffic on Sunday, 12 February 2006 from 1600hrs to 2230hrs. As such, services 75 and 167 will be temporary diverted during this period.

Road closures during airshow
COME next week, some major roads will be closed for the Asian Aerospace 2006 opening ceremony dinner and the exhibition.
On Monday, Nicoll Highway between Republic Avenue and Bras Basah Road will be closed from 5pm to midnight. This includes stretches of Raffles Boulevard and Temasek Boulevard. Only Police vehicles, emergency vehicles and vehicles with approved labels will be allowed in.
Members of the public are advised to avoid using private transport to get to Suntec City as congestion is expected around the area. Alternative routes proposed are via Mountbatten Road, Fort Road, Rochor Road, Maxwell Road and Ophir Road. Parking restrictions around the area will be enforced and offending vehicles will be towed away.
During the Feb 21-26 show, Telok Paku Road, Nicoll Drive and part of Changi Coast Road will be closed to traffic from 5.30am to 6.30pm daily.
Motorists going to Changi Airfreight Centre are advised to travel by Xilin Avenue and the ECP into Changi Coast Road. Visitors will be checked at the exhibition site and there are restrictions on photography in some areas. Bus services for visitors are available from Singapore Expo and Pasir Ris bus interchange.
All public car parks along Nicoll Drive and the car park behind Block 1 Changi Village will also be closed during the event. — CNA

According Shin Min Daily News, traffic will be diverted from Old Airport Rd via Cassia Link/Cassia Cres/Guillemard Rd/Guillemard Camp Rd to Dunman Rd at the affected area.
Cassia Link/Cassia Cres will be widened, affected pair of bus stops(Blk 62 & Blk 99) will be relocated to bef Cassia Link at Old Airport Rd.
Previously closed Guillemard Camp Rd will be widened & re-opened to traffic, affected bus stop(Broadrick Sec Sch) will be relocated to bef Guillemard Camp Rd at Dunman Rd.
