So I wanted to ask:Originally posted by sinicker:my take on 59's route is...
Bishan Int
Bishan St 11
Bishan Rd Arrow duplicates 88 to TPY Lor 6
TPY Lor 1
" Lor 6 Arrow transfers frm MRT/other svcs at bus stop near TPY Int
Jln Toa Payoh Arrow monastery, st. andrew's jnr sch, Siemens building
Eunos Link Arrow duplicates 15 up to bus stop before junction where 8/15/58 turns left to Bedok Nth Rd Ext.
Bedok Reservoir Rd Arrow duplicates 21/65 up to Tamp Safra
Tamp Ave 1/2 Arrow duplicates 8/17/18/28 up to Tamp East CC
Tamp Ave 7/Loyang Ave Arrow duplicates 9
turns left into changi village rd.
i know it is kinda messy. sorry.
as i said, it will duplicate 21/65 up to Tamp Safra. so, yes.Originally posted by SGEMP:So I wanted to ask:
Is it probable that svc 59 would pass by my Damai Sec Sch given such routing?
Actually, duplication is not really the issueOriginally posted by sinicker:as i said, it will duplicate 21/65 up to Tamp Safra. so, yes.
yup, true. which is what my schmates(i'm in tpjc btw) living in Bedok Reservoir Rd are gonna take advantage of when the services starts.Originally posted by sbst275:Actually, duplication is not really the issue
Because the bus uses entire Ave 2, something the 2 svs would not be able to serve
Currently on Sv 8, but it has to make a detour through TPOriginally posted by sinicker:yup, true. which is what my schmates(i'm in tpjc btw) living in Bedok Reservoir Rd are gonna take advantage of when the services starts.
yeah, anyway, the express sector isnt really that "express" at all. when i was still in Bedok North Sec, i had a choice of taking 15/21 home at Tampines. the bus stop aft the mosque.. when 15/21 comes together, i would take 15 and i take notice, at the Safra bus stop, 21 would be ahead of me!Originally posted by sbst275:Currently on Sv 8, but it has to make a detour through TP
Actually, it is a longer rtOriginally posted by sinicker:yeah, anyway, the express sector isnt really that "express" at all. when i was still in Bedok North Sec, i had a choice of taking 15/21 home at Tampines. the bus stop aft the mosque.. when 15/21 comes together, i would take 15 and i take notice, at the Safra bus stop, 21 would be ahead of me!

4 berths for 8 services.Originally posted by SGEMP:So how many berths are in UEC in total?
TL guide 2006 states for service 980 that passengers cannot board but can alight at this terminal.Originally posted by Apex-LW'21:Admiralty Rd West Ter was converted into a no-alighting and boarding terminus.
Reversed to that of Clementi where west-bound buses from Commonwealth Ave West cannot alight passengers.Originally posted by tranquilice:TL guide 2006 states for service 980 that passengers cannot board but can alight at this terminal.
Clementi interchange only has one alighting berth. To minimise congestion at the alighting area, these mentioned services do not alight passengers at the interchange. Furthermore, it is just a short walk to the interchange from the alighting bus stop.Originally posted by PhyrePhox:Reversed to that of Clementi where west-bound buses from Commonwealth Ave West cannot alight passengers.
In addition, Clementi - Upp Thomson connection will be faster with service 52 compared to taking service 165.Originally posted by PhyrePhox:Residents of Clementi Road and Toh Guan Road, and students of SIM and Ngee Ann Poly will really rejoice now that they can get to the MRT with less waiting.
I'm sure svc 52 to J-8 is much faster than 156.Originally posted by tranquilice:In addition, Clementi - Upp Thomson connection will be faster with service 52 compared to taking service 165.
It's even faster if service 52 ply Bishan St 21.Originally posted by iveco:I'm sure svc 52 to J-8 is much faster than 156.
Same as New Bridge Rd TerOriginally posted by tranquilice:TL guide 2006 states for service 980 that passengers cannot board but can alight at this terminal.
In 2006, Clementi Int will be torn down since there will be a temporary interchange just opposite the current one.Originally posted by tranquilice:Clementi interchange only has one alighting berth. Yeah.. construction work has already started at the new site. They're digging out the ground now. A few months back, they were drilling into sites around the current interchange and were doing some surveying.Originally posted by Apex-LW'21:In 2006, Clementi Int will be torn down since there will be a temporary interchange just opposite the current one.

Haha.. tell me about it.. I remembered this place since I was a kid. It's the reason its quite small that it cannot take so many routes. I remember they always have to juggle the routes if they wanna put something new.Originally posted by tanjun:Clementi Interchange is quite a nice place because I can buy a wafer, eat and at the same time wait for my bus. The shops are actually in the interchange itself. The only problem that it seems to be a bit small.
