btw. the NEL cant take you anywhere is true, but can transfer to NSL EWL or circle line. also, transfers means a higher revenue for SBS.
Btw, i think NEL can extend all the way from punggol to Woodlands.. its a one-directional peak period svc. -

Not possible. Punggol to Woodlands may be covered by the future MRT North Shore line. -

1st public transport fare increase I remenber is on 1 June 1997, second is 1 July 2002, third is 1 July 2005, why so many fare increase???

yes, bus services will now use sims way. the realignment of mountbatten rd, permanent closure of the section of mountbatten rd between sims way and people's assn and the extension of sims way into upp boon keng is part of the whole KPE construction plan. tis will allow a direct link to upp boon keng from mountbatten rd, have some developmental control for the land above the KPE tunnel (cannot anyhow have buildings). also, the plot of land freed up by closing mountbatten rd will also make plans for developing the area more flexible.Originally posted by Townlink 268:i dont understand the amendments at mountbatten road at all.. basically it means bus services will use sims way instead of mountbatten road?
