This is because, in the past, Without the presence of LRT(west), theres no way for the ppl in Fernvale and Anchorvale had no choice but to take the only 2 buses... 371 and 163.. ANd... do you know that in the morning (6+) even if both 371 and 163 arrive at the same time, the buses will still be packed.. ?? I kNow about this because i'll pass by SenGkang every other day... Thats why i know... to mi, w/d of 371 was a VEry Stupid Mistake which they (SBST) Had made with the opening of LRT(West). Students at nearby schools NOw have to spend longer journey time gettin to their Schools/Homes. Isn't there SWT 163A that ply on the former route of service 371? Sv 163 is a bit like a goodwill service for SKG west residents, as they has LRT near, but still a dist away. rem Bukit PAnjang had all feeder withdrawn before 344, (345 ?) were reinstated.
NE residents (esp SKG) should be happy and not complain so much.. have LRT, new MRT, Aircon, Bus Int annd compass point.
