Places great for chilling out, any?

I think somewhere at katong (the place is along the street where joo chiat dumplings stall is)
there is a pub + restaurant with ultimate nice ambience best for friends gathering.
Guys if wanna watch soccer can move out to the outside where there is a big tv and can smoke also. else, inside have pool table..
nice food, country style decoration- fabulous

No one mentioned BOOK CAFE!!! Further down the road from Mohamad Sultan. Nice place to chill out but if u wan the comfy cushion, depend on ur luck but its really a very quiet place...nice nice
